i have been out with a few one i seen was a half x and was a bag of shit and was oppening up. the second was a 3/4 that i seen take 3 diffrent types of quarry in one night preban! and the third was also a 3/4 very game dog didnt get a chance to see it do much but what i did see of it he was good. dont agree with what the bloke does but then again i dont have to because i would go there for a dog not a chat about him being a pedler.

How do you work that out then?? how do i work what out. i couldent care if your into shooting,ferreting,running dogs etc. we should all support each other and maybe the ban would of never happend. but no we argue amongst ourselfs form wedges between those who shoot and those that use dogs. its hunting at the end of the day and people are to quick to slag people of who aint doing it there way.

when i metioned held back i dont mean in the pen doing nothing. i mean out with the other dogs on the lead watching everthing allowed to rag dead carcass after the dogs have dispatched it etc. all dogs are different some wil be able to do it younger and some will have to be held back abit sometimes this just come down to the breed but also the individual dog too. i wouldnt slip mine on a fox until around 18 months + and its first one would be doubled up if all goes well it would be single from there. i have entered a dog single but prefer to double up at first.

cheers bud but so am i thats y i make sure i have there numbers and address all my dogs are well cared for and treatd dam well. But sure thats human nature when 1 prick starts there always simple minded people that join in listen i aint having a argument with you fella but what do you expect when you post this on a public forum i aint saying your dogs are ill treated or not looked after. what i am saying is the whole process is a shambels. i aint looking for a fist fight or a slanging match on the internet. good luck with the pups hope they turn out well.

Sounds like a guy I met last year. He responded to my advert looking for a Saluki Greyhound. Said he had some good pups. Went round his house and the Dam was a beddy whippet. I told him I wasn't looking for a whippet type and he tried to convince me she had saluki in her and the sire was a coursing dog. I took one look at his Jack russell running around his yard humping everything that moved ( and didn't move ) and I got the f**k out of there. Pup looked like a rat too... no resemblance to a saluki at all. :laugh: same story here apart form nobody knows what the sire is because nobod

lurchers for guide dogs lurchers for personal protection. i may be out of order here but leave these dogs for what they are bred for FIELD WORK. if you want a guide dog get one thats bred for the job, same goes for personal protection dogs. these days its seems a lot of people aint happy with there dog going out and catching stuff in has to be able to "attack on command" "guide the blind" these dogs aint bred for that work.

the lad pm me abuse until 12;30 last night.. and the only bit that was spelt right was "you f*****g dickhead" this lad is a numptey. he brought a dog what was in pup never even seeing the sire work. i very much doubt you even seen her work. instead of doing the right thing and giving it back or getting it down the vets to get it sorted you thought you could make some easy money and get your money back for the dog and abit more. blokes like you aint dog men its the likes of you why the game is going down the pan and there is so much shit about its cause your knocking pups out from your mother
