  2. they cannot shoot a dog anytime or any place and yes i would enter it BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO MORE RIGHTS THAN THE FARM NEXT DOOR WITH NO SIGN. i aint on about taking it to court mate
  3. Don't understand you at all...why bother putting yourself in the situation in the first place?? If you see a sign like that, you stay away for your dogs sake. If you want to put a dogs life at risk for the sake of a few runs then knock yourself out, but you don't go off crying and 'getting even' if and when the dogs given both barrels because you thought 'you'd stick it to the man' and go against the wishes of the landowner!! Sure people intentionally go out their way to be antagonistic first of all the sign is a load of bollocks you CANNOT just shoot a dog soley for being on your
  4. and your point is ? i dont reck the land i dont mess with stock i close gates behind me. i always apolgise if i bump into anyone but if some f****r gives my dog 2 barrels it aint going down well. if you want to go were you shouldnt be there is always going to be a risk but a man who shoots a dog first and trys to reason second aint going to get no sympathy from me If there's no right of way through the field, you don't go in....simple! If you ignore the warning sign and your dog gets shot who've you got to blame? Yourself!!! Obviously the farmer/landowner has had issues with dogs, put
  5. He,s got a sign up warning you.................how many warnings do you want !! if you are not interfering with livestock he cannot shoot your dog its as simple as that
  6. what i am trying to get at is if you was somewere were you shoudnt be and a keeper or a farmer comes and puts one in your mut WITHOUT escalation i.e telling me to move on or a warning shot is not only agaisnt the law but will piss me off slighty and i dont belive in getting mad just even edited to say if you can stand there and watch you dog get shot and take it on the chin your a bigger man than me and fair play

  10. would it stop me would it f**k. the fact he has gone to the hassle of writing it up like that just makes me think the bloke is a tool would he even have the bollocks to shoot a dog? heard it more than enough times "if you dont f**k off i will shoot it" with a shotgun in his hand most farmers like to give it the bigun until it comes to the crunch. if he was going to do it he wouldnt need to put a sign up just come out and shoot it. .And after he has shot the dog is that going to be the end nothing more is going to happen? i doubt it as if my dog was shot i coudnt care if i was ment to be there
  11. i hunt in season regardless most rabbits are mating all year around now and if i stop in the winter well the mut might aswell be a pet. but when its out of season i dont touch them and leave them to it. unless i have a pup that i will run on a few but thats about it.
  12. sounds about right but you forgot to add on someones elses ground that took you out and you went back...
  13. saluki bull grey seen a few of these types work and been very impressed
  14. really ? dont you just get a dog and it kills rabbits and bring them back live to hand ? mine was killing rabbits at 4 months old and hares at 5... needless to say all back live to hand i know but your big ray some of us have to wait a little longer an hope for the best whats being big got to do with it

  16. i think there would be if i am honest i mean a 3/4 grey 1/4 beddy should be able to take most game making a decent all rounder. were as with a whippet x beddy may struggle on stuff that bites back. although if you just wanted it soley for rabbits i would go for a smaller whippet x beddy
  17. benzol benzoate is what i have used on a few lurchers and it is spot on never had a problem.
  18. have him on the inside to pressure the rabbits into the nets if the rabbit somehow manages to get the otherside of the net your dog will only have to jump the net and continue to run it
  19. well it took 3 out of 3 in the match and then another 2 after the match so i cant fault it really it just looked a saluki cross to me mate but as i said i never really took to much notice.
  20. they will do multiple jobs mate not just one ot the other. if you was doing more ferreting than lamping i would be looking at a beddy x whippet as they get to there top end quicker and are spot on for fast and furious ferreting. but if you want a dog that capable of abit more than rabbits then the beddy x grey would be a good option and would still be spot on for rabbits and fox (if in NI) if enterted correctly
  21. a p***y owns him seen it run in a match a few weeks ago didnt pay too much attension to be honest mate but the name stuck out the dog is in the midlands area.
