  2. i don't know about affecting their working ability but one thing i would say is that it is a lot harder on those concerned to "lose a pet"as opposed to losing a kennelled worker,we all know its a tough game at times, and no i dont mean you have to feel anything less for the dog if that makes sense, jmo that's all

  14. mine is prob not exactly the x% your on about but close lol,i wont say she is the best iv had,to be honest she was a bit of a slow starter on retrieving shot stuff, only making a comparison to previous bullx iv had that never had any whippet in their make up,but she certainly come into her own now,at 24tts she is definitely not a prolific rabbiting dog but a good honest bitch in other ways, now at two years old she is having a cracking season so far

  18. f**k me you lads must be hitting some numbers to sicken your dogs this early into the season,i could go out round here 5 nights a week and still never had that much quarry to sicken any dog yet,may get a few low doubles on the rabbits and the odd shot and retrieved here and there, just as well i suppose as that's good enough for me
  19. Never gave out a quiet cry myself than near to the hedge line. and the odd whimper when you get to the laughing bit
  20. prob not the reason mate, more likely just a bit of a yip as it has to make up a bit of ground to get back up on the bunny that's all,as said you will know a yapper when you hear it lol so do you think it sounds like yapping. or just the dog really trying never had a yapper myself, just would not do for the places i go that's all,but seen a mates dog give a little yip especially if the rabbit has turned quickly and the dog has lost a bit of ground on it,other than this the dog runs silent,i suppose you could describe it as a little yip of frustration maybe,a lad i run with years ago
