  6. in answer to some of your questions,do not have a clue who has nicked her just typical thieving c**ts is all i can say,no one ever comes round my place so they prob clocked me walking her although most of the time its at night anyway. 99% of the time i go hunting alone so not going to be any lads i mix with because i dont, generally, made as many relevant calls as i can,dog lost, lurcher search ect, just got a couple travellers sites in the area need to go and visit, other than that what the f**k else can i do,to say im gutted is a f*****g understatement

  8. i wouldn't expect anything less from you mate lol
  9. have done it a few times and to be honest in my case i found it a total pain in the arse but then a lot can be said to the training standard of my dogs lol, cant see why it would be a problem for someone who has two well trained dogs working together though
  10. nice bit of kit that mate, and a successful trip out
  11. id have put my fork through her f*****g hand,
  12. Your dog has never ran a rabbit in daylight and your gonna teach it on the lamp??? Why not? Rabbits will feed further out under the cover of darkness and be much easier than a daytime rabbit!!! Good luck tonight fella........... Yeah, I agree the rabbits will be further out and all that but.... this dog has never been introduced into hunting, the guy doesn't know how it will react after its chased its first rabbit. Loads of problems can arise and I'd prefer it was daylight myself.... The dog hasn't run flat out before like it will when behind a quarry it wants to catch so
  13. i like the way you said "seen some nice looking bull crosses, but you want a dog that can run as well lol, heaven forbid a bullx that can run, good luck in your search for the right dog mate i think he was looking for honest advice mate, not some sarcastic comment with the dreaded 'thumbs up'. In answer to the original post: I don't know much about the bull cross mate, but plenty on here will. Make sure you take your advice from one of the real dogmen on THL there are some fakers about. atb. don't go down the route of ruining a thread mate,no sarcasm intended what so ever,i have r

  19. yeah f**k it mate just go and get it,what was i thinking obviously taking in an old stray is the making of a "decent dog man",never thought of it like that.........what utter shite firstly watchman i never said it was the making of a dogman, just that the dog deserves a decent one who understands his needs and wont abandon him with his mouth tied up. secondly just as it is not your opinion, dont make it shite. every beast deserves a chance in my opinion, i personally took a chance on a stray and she has turned out brilliantly, but maybe your right, just cos it might not have a working purp
  20. and that my friend is good enough reason alone
  21. yeah f**k it mate just go and get it,what was i thinking obviously taking in an old stray is the making of a "decent dog man",never thought of it like that.........what utter shite
  22. bad news i know but rather you than me mate, could end up costing you a small fortune for medication to get it right, maybe even for the rest of its life,as you say you have two already, this one that you have no history on what so ever may just be to much to take on nothing says its just going to fit right in,jmo but if you do then fair play just don't let your head rule your heart or whatever the saying is, and after all the rescue centre will try and re-home it, if and when it is in a condition to do so
