  1. Just got back from the gym as it happens...did push day...cos everybody will be benching tomorrow on international chest day ... Can say as I agree with your last sentence mC...latest studies I've read about suggest that keeping muscle on your skeleton is a pre curser to longevity...I'm not taking to a body builder size...but certainly athletic

  4. Mate some people get lucky...or other factors at work...look at my auntie 103 year old smoked all her life ...still does...and she's been vegetarian for about 30 years... Then look at her own daughter my cousin...dead at 62 ...very clean living vegetarian as well...didn't smoke not overweight etc...died of cancer

Just got to get over it mate...loads of youngsters in the gym stronger than me either with or without gear...its just a natural progression...I've got loads weaker than what I was...doesn't help my left shoulder is tucked...its that fecked I can't back squat at all...I can't hold the bar and get my head under it....so I front squat Better of just focusing on your overall heath mate...I still deep squat...right to the bottom..being able to hip hinge in that position as you age is a good thing
  11. Loads of guys I knew from the doors have passed some of them doing stack after stack...don't get me wrong some of them carried on partying far to long using recreational drugs as well

  13. You will just have to increase your overall calories....meat ..oily fish ..cream..Greek yogurt etc...
  14. As you know Francie...if you knock those carbs on the head ...or at least only eat a few...you will naturally eat more protein..so getting 200..to 300 grams of protein a day becomes very easy
  15. Pewit try that protein drink I put up...it just tastes like creamy milk...if you want chuck some berry's in ..or banana or some honey if its still not sweet enough... But for God's sake f**k off the chia seeds...fucks sake your not a Budgie... Nobody had heard of Chia seeds a few year ago

  18. See I disagree...I think it's easy...some of my meals over 100 gram of protein...dead easy...sometimes have that protein drink and some chicken thigh or other cold meat..

Whilst I like protein drinks they taste nice ...yeh easy convenient etc...let's be honest there's no need for them...and I know I'm like a stuck record....but there's no human food that comes in powder form... Just ax quick in the blender...250 g of Greek yogurt...3 raw eggs..half a pint of milk....over 50 g of protein...and cheaper per portion than any protein powder out there
