  1. Been doing local graveyard for years but to be honest it's about a mile out of town with only one house next door. The only thing is most insist on third party insurance these days. Almost cleared em out now but only ferreted on the outskirts of the place as i am reluctant to ferret the headstones (just me really but dont like the idea of ferreting graves) so it was on with the realtree and out with the trusty S16 that sorted em! FT
  2. Got 52 of the little buggers here including pure EU poleys and Mink hybrids (khonoriks) and none of them bite. As has been said correct diet and handling works wonders. FT
  3. Don't mess about go with the Net Loft, there is really no argument here! As for JBS well all i'll say is i know where i would part with my hard earned and it aint there. FT
  4. Bargain price, can personally vouch for the quality of Mick's nets! Regards FT
  5. If you freeze em it saves pricking em as when frozen the skins split! FT
  6. QUALITY for a start, his nets are sheet netting very poorly whipped on to a ring, but if your happy with shoddy nets so be it Y.I.S Leeview Spot on Leeview i'll 2nd that sentiment! FT
  7. That's a nice article. Here's another. Do you have a stutter, or is there a more obvious reason why you would repeat a posting wihout comment? no stutter, wanted to save it incase it got deleted/edited you asked for definition of ferrets being capable of contacting flu from humans and vice versa a link was provided theres a good few more and you retort with a link about diseases???? when the topics clearly about viruses Y.I.S Leeview Nice one Leeview you hit the nail right on the head there mate! FT
  8. Hi any form of the flu/cold type virus can possibly be dangerous to ferrets so my advice is stay away until you feel better. Regards FT

  10. Knowing Derek Webster personally he is one of the best lurchermen about today! And there is a lot of people on some of these forums would do well to take notice of him. Regards FT

  13. You would normally expect them to open their eyes at 35 days. Regards FT
  14. Try SACS mate, real value for money. Very friendly and helpfull Regards FT
  15. No one's talking about reg's although it is still covered by em, i said house insurance which is another ball game and believe me if they can find something that is not listed in the policy they will not pay! Besides £500 to connect a shed! must have one hell of a back garden. Anyway it's your life but better safe than sorry. FT
  16. As an electrical contractor i have to say the only way to do this is to run a seperate feed from your consumer unit via an underground cable buried to 18 inches, then to a dedicated consumer unit in the shed. The main reason for this is, if you have any problems later possibly requiring a claim on your house insurance they may not pay out if a "bodge" job turns out to be the source. Regards FT
  17. Shame you could not do what i did with the wifes parson pup. Picked him up from the breeder and on the the way down the garden path when i got him home, as i passed the aviary i keep my ferts in i dropped him in with em and went for a cuppa! 30 mins later went and got him out of the nest box where the jills had put him and took him in the house, he has never bothered a ferret since he thinks they all belong to him now. Only drawback has been is that if i rehome one to someone he gets quite protective towards them and i have to put him in the house while they take one of "his ferrets "
  18. Well just been up to the hospital for a bone density scan and one of the requirements is that you should only wear clothing without any metal items ie zips, button or rivets etc. So i search high and low and the only thing i could find were my realtree tracky bottoms and tee shirt, you should have seen the looks i got sitting in the waiting area :11: Regards FT
  19. Technically the gestation period is 42 to 49 days mate i would worry after this time has elapsed. I have one that goes 42 spot on and another that goes 48 every time. Regards FT
