  1. Wilbar, The AA Field is a good pellet and the right weight to use the 5yd scale on my SR12 scope. Never tried the crossmans. AA s410 carbine not only light but compact What scope do you have?

  3. Allrounder, Have a look on sport fishing Sweden, see who's head is full of shit. Is ALLROUNDER technical for jack of all trades master of none? You dont think I made it up do you ps theres even a picture........ COD (Gadus morrhua) Sw. rec 32.42 kg (72 lb), Baltic Sea, Province of Skåne. The heaviest cod last year tipped the scale at 29.7 kg. Nine cod weighed more than 21 kg. Best fishingspots were situated on the west and south side of the Province of Skåne, but also out of Marstrand north of Gothenburg. Normally, late winter is superior. 5. Ok, but think before you print. If its beak was the size of that garden chair, I would need to take a chain saw to it.

  8. As you may of read wih my previous posts I aquired a male harris last week. After a litttle time to settle in, get to used to me, and see the girls through the mesh. I wanted introduce him to his prospective girlfriends, they are free lofting together, jessied them up and put them all out together on the weathering lawn yesterday for the first time. They seemed to accept him. I put them all back into the loft together last night and I am pleased to say he is still with us this morning. phew. I was dreading that first look, I half expected a pile of feathers left on the floo

  10. I will be asking your advice on the breeding side at the back end of the flying season if thats ok. I travelled down to the Midlands for the bigger female. The only thing with her, is she is arsey when she is at the top weight during the summer. Come to pick her up she is like a flying banshee, till the weight drops and I get her going. This bird did something I would never dream possible, she took a duck on the water in the middle of a gravel pit. She was sat half submerged on this mallard, I didnt know what to do, but I decided that I wasnt going to die trying to save her.
  11. Yes your right 2 females and a male. The middle one is the male, I have only just aquired him. The 2 females I fly as a cast and hope to introduce him in to fly along with them. Then hopefully pair off and breed next year. The 2 females are a formidible team, cock pheasants being the speciality of the pair. Mind they have been known to take the odd silky bantam in the farm yard. They fly at 2-3 going up to 2-4 and 2-5 going to 2-7, the bigger female being a sonara.
  12. Managed to add the photos this time :11:

  15. Was told story about Jack Russels hunting apes. The big white explained to his helper for the day we need the Jack Russel, a gun, ladder and net. How does the hunt work the helper asked, the hunter explained, we find a tree with an ape in it, I use the ladder to climb the tree, I shake the tree till the ape falls out the tree, the dog is specially trained to bite and hold onto the apes testicles, while the dog is holding on you through the net over the ape. Thats it he explained. The helper looked puzzled, why if we hunt like that do we need a gun, he asked. The hunt
  16. The insect in question sound like the sewage fly, they will lay there eggs on the ferrets shite or any shite, hatch to small maggots turn into the fly and start the sequence again. Clean your shit corner out daily this will stop the cycle.
  17. I have looked at the O/U 28 bore for ferreting, but the baikal lock is the same size as on a 12 bore, makes the gun a bit unbalanced but it would do the job Now looking at a McNab
