Good post. Are any of yours breathing funny? Thats what I couldnt bare to watch with mine they seemed to be heaving, looked like a real effort just to breath I didnt put all mine to sleep at once, It was just I would check on them every morning and it was like they were all slowly getting worse. Each morning I was finding one breathing like that, so they all eventually went Wasnt a nice experiance but I have learnt more than I ever could from reading a book or reading off a website. H&J

I had the same thing with my litter and I culled the whole litter, does that mean I "bucketed" them? I did what I belived to be the kindest thing. I personally would never keep a ferret with a bent spine, IMO Its best for the ferret to be pts. Just because I put a unhealthy litter to sleep dosent mean I "bucketed" them Good luck with the ferrets dougie, hope they all do well H&J

Ditch, Gortex is good stuff, very waterproof. Dosent have much breathability though, I cant wear them in summer anyway, feet sweat buckets.

John dee on ebay sells 10z I think I will order 10, there supposed to be quite tangle free and good price. Start of last season I bought 20 spun nylon (£45 ) nets and are worth the money, hardly tangle and handle like hemp (without the drying out)

You will get a far better boot for a cheaper price... £180 quid it costs for a pair of le chameau boots, never heard of them winning many awards, or even having seen people hiking in them
