  1. How do they work is it a one way flap?
  2. I agree Frank would be nice to see the whippets with abit more freedom and would have prefered to see the whippets working in a few more open burys, as apposed to a huge hedge. If your going to buy a cheap copy of ebay, then you cant really go wrong as its only going to cost about £3 to your door. But if I paided the full warrener price then I would be sick as a pig "that callums a cracking ferreting dog" must say that about 5 times though the dvd lol Anyone know if he still keep whippets? ATB, H&J Edit: Just to add, my 'whippets at work' experiance would proba
  3. Its shit mate, complete crap.... I bought it of ebay for a couple of quid, watched it once and it was boring, believe it or not I attemped to watch it last night buy I could only last 5 mins Lamping footage isnt great, the ferreting, theres one good course. The whippets were also opening up loads on the courses, chewing rabbits in the nets, his missus back heeling the dogs when they are jumping at the rabbit shes carrying. If your thinking of buying the full rip off warrener price, DONT No doubt someone will disagree and say its the best thing since sliced bread, but to me, I

  9. I think it hit his ear muff, if it hit him in the head it would have killed him outright surely?
  10. Decent spade, a ferret locator, you will also need 10-20 more nets too and a ferret box. Good luck, it would be better for you to go out with someone experianced and you will learn alot quicker. Im sure someone here will show you the ropes, Im abit far sadly and am too quite new to ferreting. ATB, H&J
  11. What kind of a twat would use iron as a backstop?!!
  12. Interesting, do you not feel that this type of attitude just makes it harder for those who are willing to take the time to get permission the right way, and I'm not talking sexual favours! . Or is this just not an issue? I'm not spoiling for a fight or flame war or anything. Just interested to hear, from others as well if they just poach if they can't get permission. What is the general consensus here guys? If someone won't give it to you just take it anyway? thanks, /Mad For me, geting permission is ALOT harder than most as im 16, nearly 17. Not many farmers are

  18. I dont understand expensive binoculars, I got a pair for 20 quid, hawke cheapo's. Seem good enough quality to me Some of the ones in the stalking adverts are like £700+, with the same 8x40 as mine. Convince me, what advantage do the REALLY expensive binoculars have? Mine seem fine, I couldnt count the hairs on a deers ass but why would I need that good? Cheers, H&J
  19. I ate one of those rabbits last winter....... H&J
  20. The bad thing about them draining spades is I doubt they would be able to shift much dirt from the hole. Might be able to dig ok but I cant see them being able to lift all the lose mud at the bottom. I think a good roundmouth shovel is the best, I would prefer one abit longer than the B&F one, what if you get a 4ft dig, would be hard work, as it would be much deeper than the spade. I have a shovel, round mouth with a slight point and have just bought a bulldog rabbiting spade of ebay, which Im yet to use. Will try and get a up but the computer is playing up (usb drive not re

  22. I always gut the rabbits, probably dont need to but I just do it as a matter of habbit as soon as there out the net! My ferts dont get many birds. Pheasent mainly, and they are not normally gutted.
