Here`s my bitch,100% allrounder.She`s a deerhound lurcher from lines going back years.I`ll definately breed from her in the future and keep the line going.She does work with ferrets but is not ideal as she gets frustrated and starts digging at holes if loose. -

Here`s my Beddy grey x wheaten grey.Not a day time long years dog but does everything else.He works well with ferrets and on the lamp.The only negative point he has is that he can be a real b*****d with other dogs. -
If your dog is a good rabbiting dog and you breed with another good rabbiting dog of a simmilar size the pups are likely to turn out good rabbiting dogs.If you put a good fox dog on a good rabbiting dog the outcome of the pups is a bit of a guessing game.All the best

Absoloutly gutted for you Valentino.I could tell you had really bonded with her and had brought her on really well.As I have a litter brother of hers,contact me any time(when he`s old enough) if you know of a bitch requiring a stud(free),you can keep a pup for yourself then.All the best.

It`s difficult to catch a lot of rabbits when the conditions are not right ie too much moon or not enough wind.Lamp up wind on a moonless windy night and your dog should get a good bag for you.All the best

I was out last night,got soaking wet for two rabbits.Never mind,like I say to the Mrs ,"What`s the point having running dogs if you`re not going to run them?".

If anything this cross seems to be getting more popular by the minute. atb stabba do ya know of any one who breeds good wheaton greyhounds [bANNED TEXT] wouldn,t mind one myself A mate of mine has a litter of 1st cross x 1st cross due 5/11/09.Most are already accounted for.PM me your number and I`ll pass it to him. A lad I know has a beardie x greyhound from Hancocks.It`s a really good allround dog.It`s a 1st cross so is a touch slow.I`d go for a 1/4 border collie 3/4 greyhound for an allrounder(taller and faster).Good luck

Show him some rabbits and get him interested in chasing them.I like to take a pup out with an experienced dog lamping,this way he`ll have less distractions as everyone will be focusing on the beam.Good luck,can`t go wrong with a beddy cross.
