    A mate got caught coming off land with a lamp & battery & dog & they seized the lamp & accussed him of poaching.Didn't arrest him or convict him but hes having a job getting his gear back.Hes spoken to a solicitor & he said they must return my mates lamp& battery as either than trespass theres no proof of any offence. What do you boys think?

    I'm looking for a genuine 1/4collie,3/4 whippet stud dog. Must be tried & tested to the full for mainly ferreting & some lamping. 21" or below to the shoulder,doesn't matter about colour ie blue merle,black& white.Don't want any' well he has got abit of beddy in him' must be a genuine cross.Right money payed for right dog or pick of the litter.     Always was led to believe it was some sort of running dog cross herding dog ( pot filler). So basically a collie greyhound but far removed from the collie crosses of today. Nobility's pure breeds cross farmers droving/herding type of dog made the old type lurcher to catch for the pot.But who really knows for sure?

    The saluki cross is uncontrollable,a sheep worrier,doesn't listen,won't come back etc etc.Proves the pundits or so called experts wrong doesn't it? Nice dog.
