yer thay will like them giv em 1 and see how fast thay rip it up and munch 1 down ad 9 ferrets as a kid and i wood giv them anything i shot or traped rabbs rats allsorts of birds even the odd frog enything small enoth for them to kill thay will eat thay wood get eggs with a bit of milk evry week not to much milk tho

do alot of yas use locaters and wood you recamend them iv never thorght of useing them till the other day i took me brothers hobs out to a new spot iv founed on me doorstep thats litterd with rabb holes its like water ship down i didnt av enth nets boltted 3 all out un-neted holes ad to wayt 1 and a half hour til the littel f****r poped its head out about 15 or so meters away i just corght it bfour it cud go back down i might get 1 meself i see how the locaters can put your mined at rest

most pet shops sell frozen chiks mice and rats i get them for me pet snake thers 1 in warrington markit and 1 on padgate lane across the road from bargin booz hope this hellps you mate

just wundring do pepul clip ferrets nails all the time like thrw the rabbitin seeson or just when the ferrets are not working for abit i wood prafur feffets to have a nice set of sharp claws

thars a bit about fur loss in tips on ferrets no the pined section i no sum ferrets loos fur on ther taills wich will not harm them. but fur loss on its back, left or right side i wood get cheked out by vet but i think you probly right mate time of the year ps how are the kits getting on well i hope how long till thay be reddy and can i stil av 2hobs or 2jills mate

if you think about it years ago man tamed wild dogs hawks and polecats to work for them and hunt thay prbly tryed stoets and things like that years ago if thay wher any good we wood all be keeping stoets lol

i think all ferrets wil work given the chance thay are predters and have a natril killing instinkt that thay use very well thay may be tame and never bite when handeld but that wil change when thay run in to a rabbet down a hole thay all got a nasty streek i went out ferreting 3 or 4 week back with me bro and his 2 hobs 1 of them bolted a rabbet in to net and befour i cud get to it the bigger of the 2 hobs was right on it the hob bit the rabs head 1st hob was dragging it about thay rolled about then the hob pined it down and bit its nek and killed it took about 2 or 3 minnits in all was fun

mi dog wil follow ferrets about sniffing them i went out with a frend last week he had a harris hawk wich had never met a ferret before and i was abit unshur but the hawk ad 1 look at the ferret and didnt pay a intrest in it im not shur what wood of happend if hawk was flying and saw the ferret

i was out ferreting last week saw what i thorght was sum big rabbit holes and ther was rabbit poo evrywhere i ad a good look rouned and founed a trail of fox foot prints leeding to one of the holes
