  1. hi, personly like this gun. why would you want a double trigger, it just makes more work for you. i prefer over and unders' to side by sides as i think that side by sides make you look at the barrles more as there is more of them. i a regluar clay shooter who has represented england twice and team GB once i definately prefer over and unders. if you do want a new gun, get wither a browning or miroku. you cant go wrong with either of them. but its not what other people think, its what you like. i am an olympic skeet shooter and most people who look at my gun would say its a trap gun because i ha
  2. i think that this is just a program showing you the fish, but the had to make it interesting and that is what Robson adds, entertainment. he is amusing to watch, you have to admit it
  3. hi, i also have a fox call uk caller, i think that they are good but have you ever found that if there is a bit of drizzle or condensation in the caller then it does not work? i have and its annoying
  4. if you hit them you will kill them. just dont shoot them too far away or you'll just end up wounding everything. also use a suitable choke, i use quarter and half. as for range any within 35yds should be bread and butter for that combination. cheers the verminator
  5. i personly think that before you go and tackle anything live you should go and get some practice on some clays. get yourself a decent coach for an hour or 2, get one that comes well recommended. that will be the best thing to do because if the pigeons are decoying well and you cant shoot, then all you'll end up doing i scaring the pigeons off the field. cheers the verminator
  6. for pigeons i have ground down a pair of pliers so as they very thin. i then just put them round the pigeons neck and squeeze, it breaks the neck easily and quickly, also looks better to bystanders than ringing a birds neck. for hares i get hold of there back legs with there belly away from me, tilt its head back a bit and then push down on the neck while holding the legs where they are.
  7. hi, i use 30gram 6's, plastic wad. i personally don't like fibre as i don't think it patterns as tight so i choke up a bit when i have to use it. when i use the 30gram 6's i don't get many pricked birds. i also use these for everything else live that i shoot, apart form hares or bigger. cheers the verminator
  8. i have downloaded this and i like it, its good. it could be improved though by adding a total of all totlas
  9. i agree with willow1 here on the pattern's shape and about moving in the hide. for the hide you need a good solid backdrop to bulid you hide in front of, if there is nothing natural that you can use i would use a couple of nets at the back. for decoys i rekon that as much variation in the decoys as possible is good. the guy that i go with has about three types of decoys and i have full bodied & 2 differnet types of shell. when you mix all of these up it looks very good. hope this helps a bit. good luck next time the verminator
  10. i dont know where you guys are but in linconshire my local game dealer gives about 30p a rabbit!
  11. i have shot rabbits at 40 or so yards. for anything beyond that i think its best to have either an FAC air rile or rimfire
  12. well done, i started shooting at 8 and my first kill was a woodie and im now nrl 18, killed a lot more since then. my vermin head count for last month was 129 keep at em the verminator
