  1. well done, sure you'll enjoy it. when do you start, September?
  2. well done, looks like you had a bit if sport there
  3. i have brought scopes and other things from uttings and have found them very good to deal with and their postage is fast. i live in england though so i dont know what they do about posting to Ireland. CZ rifles are one of the most popular rimfires there are. very reliable, accurate and your not to botherd if it gets a knock or to
  4. try the owl first with a shot gun, also use the caller to replicate the crows mobbing, that should bring them in well. if you dont have much luck try a solitry crow decoy, sit back in a hide with your rifle and nail them as and when they pitch in. good luck and let us know how u get on
  5. all i can help you with is the moa. 1/8th of an inch is more useful for long range shooting, more precise
  6. air arms field or hunters, depends which your gun likes best
  7. don't know of any others but im a member of both
  8. hi, just wondering what decoys people prefer. i know i depends what crop your on, conditions and time of year, but what is generaly the best? please vote a comment.
  9. why feet? they dont move the gun do they? in know you have to have them in the right place but your arms lift the gun and your hips rotate it.
  10. not on accuracy they aint. on time a few have inc. me
  11. i got my clulite from the british shooting show. clulite them selves were there and had some good deals on, got 1000m lamp, battery back, scope mount & the filp up red filter all for £70 forgot to add there brilliant lamps
  12. a lot of shooting is psychological. e.g. if some one dosen't get on with a rabbit well they would see one and think 'oh no, not rabbits. i don't like them'. and by thinking that they have pretty much talked them selves out of targets. you can even talk people into missing targets, not that i ever do that:whistling:.
  13. thats what my mate ended up doing , got a CZ something or another, shoots brilliantly. so i would say get a new gun.
  14. hi, i .17hmr will do the job fine of foxes, as will a .22lr. it is the shot placement that is important, head or chest shots are on as always. as for your sako quad, i know some one that has one of those and they had a .22lr barrel and a .17hmr barrel for it. it didnt work all that well. every time you change caliber it changes your zero. although somewhere i once saw a scope made for .17hmr's, cant remember what make it was though. good luck with the charlies
  15. I'd go no further than 30-40 yd with BBs or AAA, load wise, 34 gram BB or really as heavy as you can get!- NB- check your chamber length as well, you don't want to go shooting 3" AAA through a 21/2 " gun! or even a 23/4 through a 21/2 gun- doesn't bear thinking about.... i think now there are some 3 1/2 inch chambers
  16. some people have to take it very seriously as it is there job, for the lucky few who are on World class
  17. have you ever heard of essevierre or seen any of their work? they are in the Gardome Valley in Italy
  18. i only used 'immune' because i have shot rabbits and they have scares that look like they have had mixi, all round the eyes, etc. didnt want to eat them though, might not be completely clean
