    depends what your whelping them in ..really.........heat lamp ideal or hot water bottle with towels around or let it call down .........................if you got two you can alternate , they last for hours..............if its a well insulated box the bitch will do the job any way

    was out beating a shoot tuesday and the guns shot 51 ducks........alot of the old beaters said he never seen them fly so well ,............doing big circles and coming right back in to the guns............then yesterday we done a pond drive and we couldnt get them to lift,.............................some did but we left a few ................they would not fly
