Being a vegetarian does'nt immediatly make you an"anti" my wife was raised on a farm (her brother still run's) and she chose at an early age to be a "veggie", she come's lamping quite a bit with me if i'm going for rabbit's, but draw's the line at fox retrieval :whistle: not because she is "anti" but because she can't stand to see NED get bitten All the best. when i was younger [a long time ago] i thought plummer and hancock were gods every thing written i read and believed i still read alot of field sport literature but try to keep an open mind .you read as much as you can world hunter but make up your own mind I made my own mind up about these 2 fella's when i was younger, as i met, learned and admired (most of there work), but as you know if the Plummer or Hancock word is used the knive's are out.

I know on occasion dog's are injured and unfortunatly killed, i was wondering if any of the guy's on here have had any close call's?? I mean to themselves not there dog's.
