    Well, they say that Sows with cubs are the biggest threat. But, the one in the film probably had not seen a human being before. Interesting to note, that area was "Crown Land". You can hunt bears with dogs. I used my wirehair to blood track one a few years ago. He has a great love/hate thing for bears now. lol I do worry a little about wolves in the upper peninsula. They have killed quite a few bear hounds, and Livestock protection dogs to date. I keep the dogs as close as I can, and always have a gun. Otherwise, I think people just go about their business.     Well thats fair. I was sizing her up too. Long dogs, Michigan where I live has a good population of Black bears. Ontario Canada, where I hunted. Has a huge over population of Black bears.
