    I've been wiped out by my dog at full tilt after a rabbit. He took my standing leg as i tried to move out the way, done a 3/4 somersault and face planted with the lamp still on My pal i was with didn't stop laughing for a good hour afterwards. My leg hurt for a few days too Fished a little pond early one morn on some land, on the way back carrying 2 rods, bucket and a bag i slipped when going over the style, another face plant, broken rod tip, grazed shins and another very amused mate

    It's all just weird imo. I have seen an increase in Badgers on one of my permissions, but surely that can't be the answer ? Anyhow i'm saddened to hear that more people are having the same problem as us, but it's nice to have the knowledge that we're not alone. What can we do about it ? Just keep getting out there and enjoy the fortune of bagging a bunny or 2 and know how hard earned they've been. The times of the ground moving will be back . . . . . . . . . . .     Can't do Sunday :'( Got to get my bit done, i've been promising the people for nearly 2 weeks Jamie how come your cutting AND ferreting the same day mate ? Not telling you how to do it but in my limited experience if you do cut it you won't get much to bolt because of the noise thats been made ? Can try and arrange another time if you fancy it ?

    Recently myself and a couple of other people i know who hunt fairly close to each other have been struggling to find the rabbits Not that any of us have encountered massive bags at night but still normally enough to know you've been out and the dog has worked hard and tired enough from running conies for a few hours. I'm just wondering what would your average night would consist of ? i.e amount of slips, average amount of conies brought home, number of rabbits seen etc. Myself and Tyla we're out last night for 4 hours ( 10-2 light rain + good wind ) and had 6 slips each on land we ha

    Moll - From what i know the 3ltr engine is just more trouble than its worth. Everyone who i've spoken to who knows anything seems to prefer the 3.1

    I've got a trooper 3.1 with A/T's on and always been good as gold, loads of room, comfy but juicy ! As you said get the 3.1 NOT 3ltr. Can't comment on the others but i go offroading, Greenlaning with my Landrover pals and always get anywhere i want. Granted i don't do every thing they do but mine is also used as a family motor so can't drown it or risk breaking too much

    Spot on as usual bud I'm sooooooo looking forward to our outing I was saying to the boy the other day about doing the messy bit and his answer was ' Can i have my own knife for my birthday so i can do them ? ' What more can a father want. His 10 y/o lad asking for a blade to gut and skin small animals :laugh: Anyhow i feel an opinel is on the cards

    Mad mouse, my pal has the same tattoo pretty much I was just about to decribe it, when you push your shoulder blades together the dog never seems to quite catch the hare though

    Probably a second hand dslr would suit you mate, can pick them up fairly reasonable. Then you have to start looking at lenses, a slippery expensive slope from there
