    I've got no problem sorting out somewhere to go, I've got a fair bit of permission that I'm sure I'd be able to sort out. Also got my own ferts that work. I've got pretty much everything in place apart from the birds

    lodgesmith - Long nets and collar bought and delivered to my door within 3 days. All spotless and better than expected, proper bloke to deal with :) Also on the plus side, went pugging for a few hours this morning, bolting for the dogs, omg my boy was excellent if i do say so myself. 4 caught in full tilt, happy days :)

    That's some dig mate, fair play I start getting twitchy if I see 6ft on my locator because of the ground we ferret on. Chalk, flint stone the lot, not nice. For any newbies reading this thread ' THIS IS THE REASON YOU NEED COLLARS AND LOCATORS ' Atb for the rest of the season

    Well done on getting out there mate You can't have a bagging up night every time. Too many people catch far too much on here whilst miraculously resting their feet on the coffee table with the heating on God knows how they do it :D

    I take mine lamping, a great work out for them chasing those bunnies and always brilliant for both of us when she catches. Mine comes pugging too, she marks fairly well and you know if the rabbit hits the net its not getting out Bushes pretty well although maybe a bit big but she enjoys it, She also goes ratting, in 'our' pack of ratting dogs she is referred to as the ' soft mouthed stafford ' :D Good little all rounders imo, never going to be a world beaters but a more honest hard working dog you'll be hard pressed to find.     I've been having the same trouble recently and personally putting down to the lack of work for the dogs. Also frustration imo is a big part of it, if I'm out and the dogs are only having 3-5 runs a night the dog think sod you your not having it !! When they we're retrieving well the dogs had a lot to run at, so the reward was another slip. Now i think they realise that next slip might not be for a good while so don't want to play the game ? Skycat - Pm sent, I'd be interested to read your opinions / views on this subject.
