    Cracking images there matie, aint got a fox pic yet.. Undis right, move to A, and if its a dull day set it to f4, if its a sunny day, with that set up, go up to f8, but watch it as all Nikons tend to over expose a bit, so if you have a compensator button, marked with a +/- set it to minus third (3) but on the P setting your camera on these pics has done a cracking job of exposure

    Cheers matie.. I was at an Andy Rouse evening in Newcastle a month or so ago..His wildlife photography is exceptional, dream stuff..mine I can assure you have a long way to go..but I will "keep at it though" Youve brought some good points up above..Im doing an evening next year at a camera club in Ashington on wildlife photography, and an article or two on THL seems workable But there are much more accomplished photographers on here I can assure you, with much more technical knowlege than I will ever have, and the ability to put it in writing..Mac tut, dawn b etc..

    A couple of ospreys from the weekend.. Sorry guys had to remove them from Photobucket as some on another forum they were linked to didnt take to rainbow trout being taken from places where anglers were paying to fish..didnt want to offend anyone by my photos, but will get some up without fish ASAP

    There are kingfishers back at my favourite perch, this is a young male, he visited for nearly an hour today, so managed to get quite a few shots..

    Found a gold ring, but it was how I found it that was strange..my mate shot a goose, when it came down it landed on a fox, the fox was carrying a duck, when I gutted the duck there was a fish inside it, and when I gutted the fish..there it was a f*****g gold ring
