Been right through every drawer for the record book for that year I travelled with big Pie..September 1995, the dog he had then, a black dog, was called Rum....hope this helps..Im sure that one of the dogs he had, could be this one, was bred off Ardkinglas Mick.. Gin was a darker brindle than Thorn (the assassin dog) I may have a picture, if I can find it you can have it..racking my brains now, Im sure she was out of Gingers Nance..if so, she was not out of Thorn, but, was related to him. well aye man, it's canny like, ta muchly cp and she gives them non peds a race as well, you will for sure mate she's got the brindle dog in docherty's book twice in her pedigree, apparently he was mated to his daughter if that jogs anything mate If you mean Thorn, ( The Assassin), yeah I knew the dog, not well, but my mate had a match with it, and got beat !! LOL !! A top class dog, and this was before the Saluki Hybrid became popular. Cheers. Thorn was half brother to one of my bitches, (bred him to her at one point) he was truely a phenomenal dog, he did get beat in a match

Like I say the Leyland lion was about 1933, but dont hink that one is that old, could be an L type, more the 501s I have a picture of one of the ones we did up and used for weddings, films etc..

Some nice un there matie..I served my as a bus mechanic, worked on old Bristols but not as old as that one..did work on Leyland Lions 1933 models, bloody awkward to drive thought, the clutch was in the middle and the brake was on the right, took a bit getting used to..

One of the dogs she could have in her, a while back though This bitch was smaller, a bit more wool on her, 4th generation lurcher x lurcher with mainly deeround, a touch of bob tailed collie in her..she was a phenomenal killer, and she bred for the guy who had her..she was 7 of 8 in this picture and was still going strong

Its not often I swear, but....What a fucling lovely looking animal.. One thing that even the most un-accomplished person can detect in a dog, even if its not in their chosen breed is QUALITY. aye my laddie was doing his life guard course this week so I was doon that way all week, braw bit of coastline you should maybe do other stuff with you,re camera cause your wildlife shots are pish haha Thanks, always good to hear from a fan...
