I have fished with both, and i was with the latter on 2 occasions when he banked good 30'S....Yet i never saw him pull a trick or lie about a fish, like i saw others do pal!! In saying that, i was fishing on Lomond with him 20 odd yrs ago, and i can honestly say, his ability on that place is second to none.... 11. Never met his brother but ive met gord a few times and hes always been sound , ive heard stories of strokes hes supposed to have pulled (tell me a piker who hasnt) a lot of which i think is jealousy based and comes from another fairly well known piker in that area , hes a snake and i dont believe half the fish he says hes caught after seeing him on one of my local waters .
  12. Theres some idiots about , i was a member of southport daa untill this year and they are one of the few clubs around with a bias towards pike fishing . 20,s are thin on the ground on the crossens and i wouldnt like to be in the person who did its shoes if they get caught , they are very popular pike venues are the drains , a lot of it down to gordy who lives near by and a couple of vids he did on there.
