  5. Don't get much for nowt these days fella, best save your pocket money or come up north here and follow col as he has a nasty habit of leaving piles of nets next to sets instead of putting them in his bag haha
  6. I'm merely stating a fact, try your local free-ads paper but be wary of any ferrets given away at this time of the year as they are normally other peoples rubbish, just trying to help you as we have just been through the same losing 2 good ferrets last week and trying to get them replaced.
  7. Get in and clear some cover mate, you should try some of the land me and Col do, we are literally on our stomachs crawling through brambles, gorse bushes and nettles to get a net over a hole, what you have described sounds like heaven
  8. You'll be lucky this time of the year mate, spare ferrets are rarer than hens teeth.
  9. LOL I've seen bigger Jills, sadly everytime i get a big Hob someone decides to pinch them and leave my Jills, scumbags...
  10. Ok ye looks abit dodgy. The ferret is a good worker first rabbit wouldn't bolt so he pushed it all the way to the surface then I had to reach in and pull the rabbit out No he didn't draw blood I grabbed him just in time never bit anybody before Well I wouldn't fancy digging a ferret out of one of those caves, Ferrets are funny sometimes. I had a ferret that never bit once in it's life and used to play with it for hours a day then one day it latched onto my nose and proper drew blood, still got her outside in the hutch aswell, retired though.
  11. far enough mate , you will be safe up there ,just keep your tin hat handy HAHAHA I was thinking of having a drive down but now with all the talk of guns and stuff I will give it a miss, will stick to the peace and quiet of the mountains, my shooting days are over.......
