  6. You have a gorgeous new puppy. . . . .. cheer up!! have to agree you do look like you just sucked a lemon.... i hate getting my photo taken...as you can probably tell by this ...lol HaHa what a lemon sucker, got a face like a bulldog licking piss off a thistle Dog looks canny though.
  7. put extra holes in the collar, and do up tighter, getting them off, shows they are put on too loose to begin with, I have, but where we ferret there is a lot of slate/brick underground and i'm assuming the ferret is getting caught on these, trust me they are on tight, i'm going to see if i can modify some leather collars to fit for my own piece of mind
  8. only drawback i have found with the standard mk3 collars are the collars themselves, had to dig twice for them as the ferret has managed to get it off underground.
  9. Not seen him around for a while, was just wondering if he's dug a hole and fell in it, maybe we should send out a search and rescue party
  10. quick update, we got the permission and the farm next to it WooHooooooooo should have some biggish numbers next season.
  11. nah, we are still going strong here. been out today and got 11 not a sign of any younguns anywhere. secret location somewhere up north on the mountain tops where there is still snow
  12. Last day? over a month left on our permission up on the hills i reckon, still got snow up there, as long as you had a good day out thats all that counts, don't you have any more nets?
  13. A dog is essential mate, and on bigger sets like that pile the ferrets down otherwise they will be getting the runaround.
  14. As above, logan gun lamp, not too bad really, had one on my rapid 7 and also had the red filter with it. ok for close up work or combined with a good light gathering scope like the white tail classic i had on mine.
  15. I'm from Houghton mate and Col is from one of the above you mentioned but not Grangetown HAHA
  16. 3/4 mile, Mmmmm you must be so close you can smell us, it takes us about 10 minutes to walk there, we always stick to the black path the ferret just stray off it a bit wasn't you at the top of the hill waving and shouting at us today was it?
  17. your wrong john its a long ways from there about 20 miles infact Close to our patch then, very nice though all the same, makes the day so much better with no hills, By the way did you see much snow on the higher grounds?
