  8. my crappy little digital camera is on charging and we are going up on thursday, not sure if we are ferreting yet or just walking about to get to know the land. we can have a look round all three properly but i think it might be worth taking the ferrets and the nets,if we stumble across some easy sets we can give them a go.at least its showing were willing and we can also get sorted out about the dog situation if your travelling 70 miles better go armed to the teeth Makes sense to be honest. I think we will, I'll be knocking on Col's door at 5am next week to get up the

  13. AND! Col has just had a phone call from another farm we knocked on yesterday saying we can go on whenever we want, turning out to be a pretty productive day, 3 farms with bunnies galore WooHoo
  14. Aye that was well funny, yeah lets introduce more foxes, then when there's no rabbits left what will the foxes eat!!!! oh yeah sheep and lambs then what will happen when all the foxes need killing!!!! NUTTERS!
  15. certainly wierd that, nice black mask by the way, will have to get myself one of those LOL
  16. would you consider a swap for a rusty old satellite dish???
  17. Did anyone notice when they were doing the bolting bunny clays how close they were to what looked like a busy main road? surely on a estate that size they could of found somewhere better...
  18. There is rabbits there, we saw them sat out in the middle of fields in the snow, and the farmer told us he has a BIG problem with them, most of the sets are underneath the dry stone walls even so though it's a foot in the door and some proper land to get on and hopefully will get a few words with neighbouring farmers and extend our area, coukld do with a old land rover though as my SKY van doesn't like snow and ice covered dirt tracks and having to reverse about half a mile back up them.
  19. Not just from one farm but 2, about a 70 mile drive but can't wait to get up there next week, all I can say is WOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO so excited, hopefully we can get more than our previous best of 4 rabbits from our other errrrrrrrm places we ferreted
  20. Pretty sure I would still be there digging now under torch light
  21. Can't see a problem, I would try her on some of the smaller sets first though
  22. What colour ferrets do you prefer and what are your reasons. Personally I prefer whites with black eyes because strange as it sounds i find they work better and have a better temperament, also a big fan of polecats, I have had many different albinos from different stock but couldn't get away with them but they were easy to find in the undergrowth, not wanting to start any debates, just would like to know what you prefer
  23. No but you were when you got that tiny little splinter stuck in your vein on your arm HAHAHA
  24. Was the Hob not trying to mate with her? Is she in season???
  25. You should of seen his face when the bunny was being dispatched though
