  3. I haven,t seen any smoke in the barrel, tbh i,m gutted there is something wrong with it ,i thought its just the way they shot with quite a heavy recoil, i was trying to sell it aswell is it worth getting tuned up and keeping and if so what sort of money do you think it would cost..Thanks Brian They're normally one of the nicest springers to shoot with, Brian, and my best guess would be that someone's fitted a daft OX mainspring at some point, they nearly always spoil whatever they're fitted to. As for cost, a proper HW service kit will set you back about £35 but check that, it's a

  8. Nice bit of wind and a drop of rain last night ,so decided to take the young dog out and have a look on some new ground only got this week, most of the ground had recently been rolled so a lot of the rabbits were sitting tight to the hedges, the ones that were out i was running him on and he was doing doing quite well only missing 2 in the first 8 runs. The next rabbit he caught,as he was bringing it back he was flicking his back leg about,i thought where it was getting sticky out there it had just clogged up between his toes and pads but when i looked there was a bit of twig straight through be
  9. Very good write up mate i,ve bought an older 77 and just can,t get on with it,kicks like a donkey,i have a few differnt guns, spring, gasram and precharged, the 77 stays in the cupboard. Hi, Torchey. Something's not right with your 77 if it's like that, mate. There's three things that are the most likely cause..... 1, it's been over-sprung, they really don't respond well to that, it ruins them. 2, the breach seals gone so it's loseing compression and causing the piston to slam into the end of the cylinder. 3, the piston seal's gone tits up causing the same problem as a failed breach
  10. f**k me thats a right mess, you must have been tired

  13. Fair point matey BUT i do more than just rabbiting lol..my mediocre mutt is more than capable of running on more than just the dales lol...he ain't bad at a days ferreting, can hunt and kill prolifically in dense woodland and can be sent into copses etc: at night and left to do his job..he's more than just a "dales" rabbiting dog and YES thats one of the dreaded hills Moll haha..like you say running a dog up and down them all night ain't as easy as some would make out? ATB Andy. Dogs that are putting that much game in the bag,no matter where your running are not mediocre

  15. i take a lot of rabbits mainly cos i fecking love doing it, and testing the dog,,, as it happens they go to a zoo hole for £2.20 each, they take what i catch.... even if i didnt have this outlet, ide still try and catch them Testing the dog? In what way? most dogs are good for say 10 to 20 rabbits ,above that your testing the dogs stamina and ability in my opinion,,by the way another cracking night you had that don dog does well for what looks like quite a heavy set dog,not knocking him in any way because he does a good job by the the looks of it but how many of the 45 do you thin
