Carrots cut long ways and scatter a few offerings in front of the cage and some in it just off there runs and keep them fresh seems to work for me, not the quickest method but does work... -

Cheers my elder lads were never into the working dog thing(loved shooting though)but the young un loves the dogs and the ferrets...bird the one mostly black is a c/g 3/4 cross and the other is c/g x s/w/g
