  1. Nice shooting lads, Great read as always. Glad you have got used to the Air Ranger mate! Cracking rifle. Kind Regards, Mikey.
  2. Yep agreed, stand down range (in a safe manner), and get a mate to fire a silenced springer. There will be little or no difference to a PCP. All you should hear is the pellet flying. Kind Regards, Mikey.
  3. Nice shooting there Sam. Really cant beat the 95k, regret selling mine . Filled the game bag over and over. Kind Regards, Mikey.
  4. Top shooting lads! Good to see members getting together. Regards, Mikey.
  5. Cheers for the kind comments lads, Wurz, the bum bag was a xmas pressie off the Missus mate. She got it off ebay I think. It is a handy bit of kit. Its ideal for them longer sessions where you can stash a bit of food and drink in it. Ive got all sorts of bits and bobs in there mate. Dont always use it but keep it in the van so its always at hand! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Army-Respone-Day-Pack-Kit-Bum-Bag-DPM-Camo-/360092891618?pt=UK_Collectables_Militaria_LE&hash=item53d73579e2 Kind Regards, Mikey.
  6. Well done lads, looks like you both had a good session! Them butties looked good. Mikey.
  7. Hi Lads, Cheers for the kind comments. Shay, I did consider XTX as his work is excellent, but due to postage cost both ways, I opted for a bloke near me who I could drive to. Dropped it off last Wednesday picked it up Friday His name is UK Neil on other forums. He does some other excellent products including a 'Moderipper'!! Its an Air Stripper combined with a Silencer. It basically strips thr turbulent air from around the pellet when it exits the barrel and diverts it into expansion chambers and baffels of the silencer. Cant wait to strap one on the R10!! Kind Regards, Mi
  8. Hi Lads, Decided to take another mooch out on my permission last night. It was overcast and breezy but after a long week at work I needed to get out!. I arrived at 1830hrs to meet the farmer, and be told that the bunnies are running amock on his big padock he intends to mow. 'I'll try and do summat about that', I told him. I prepped my kit, checked zero and headed off in the direction of the padock. It was about 200m away and I opted on following a fenceline that would offer me a little cover. The wind would also be in my face, blowing my scent away from the bunnies and allowing me not

  12. Hi Lads, I have or sale my Viper 10x44mm scope. It comes with original box, mounts, flip up covers and sun shade. It has the great SCB illuminated ret. I have had it mounted on my PCP air rifle so it has never seen recoil. Used it to good success in HFT. Cracking scope for the money! £110 posted. Mikey.
  13. Enjoy the ferrets mate!

  14. Cheers Simon, Yes the R10 is a lovely rifle, and fits me like a glove, and is doing a great job of filling the game bag But........ I am missing the TX200HC!! I will definately own one again in the future. Thanks Bill, Sadly have let the ferts go to a mate off here. I cant give them the time they deserve due to work commitments. But I did treat them to a kit last night as a good bye meal Kind Regards, Mikey.
  15. Hi Mate, Had a quick play with Chairgun and a .22 at 18ft/lbs has a similar trajectory as a .177 at legal limits. Hope this helps. Mikey.
  16. Hi Lads, Just got in from a rather pleasent evening out stalking. Arrived on permission at about 1900hrs, parked, loaded the R10, checked zero and I was away. It was a nice evening out with a slight breeze, so I made sure I was down wind of the 'hotspots'. I could see a few bunnies grazing at about 100yds. I stalked low and slow, but they looked a bit twitchy so settled for about 35yds. I lay prone utilising the bipod, allowed for windage and holdover, picked a nice 3/4 grown, and sent the pellet on its trajectory to its target. It struck home nicely in the kill zone. Stalking to t

P.S Once you register to join in can take a few hours for a moderator to confirm your registration.
  20. Hi Rich, As far as im aware mate, the HW100 doesnt have a regulator as standard. Is it an after market addition ie. BTAS or Tench? Perhaps if the seals have been replaced they are not sitting [bANNED TEXT], hence the loss in power. This has happened to myself after servicing my own rifle. Just a thought mate, hope you get it soughted. Mikey.
  21. Nope Ive not heard anything either. I usually see him at UKAHFT events, I attended one on Sunday and didnt see him there. What you heard Tony, PM if preferred. Kind Regards, Mikey.
