  1. 1x beddy/pat, plus broken coat lurcher =whippet/beddy/grey 22" plus ruff coated lurcher= 1x beddy/grey. I love em, every second with em is tops
  2. if you did as you say thyen how long would you say it would take to get a lurcher fit for season pal? i just do this all year round [bANNED TEXT], they are capable of alot more but i would say 8 weeks of this is more than enough to see good results. It gets the wind in em i think, and improves the staying time
  3. 3 mile 3 times a week, 5 mile once a week, various speeds next to the bike. Bushing on the days in between. Gets in nice hard condition and all ready for the season.
  4. if were talking Bull xs and not Bulldogs, i think Anubis(sorry if its spelt wrong) has a bitch that is hard to beat cosmetically
  5. have a look, stunners i think http://www.leavittbulldogs.co.uk/#/the-leavitt-bulldog/4533026277. all worth while breedings i think
  6. PAC collars are a good make mate. ive use it for my terrier in the past and no need now so used right its very good.
  7. Dogs looking superb Brad. Heres 2 of mine. real chuffed with them, do all thats asked. Beddy/ whippe tx grey and a beddy / pat.
  8. i think you maybe right. i have another bitch of the same stamp but alittle stronger, straight grey/beddlington cross. A point and shot type of bitch. I am excited about this breeding, but its a couple of years of yet
  9. what mix is that lurcher bud? 1/8 Beddy /grey x whippet
  10. I love the road work on the bike. 3/4 Pace for 3-4 miles. I add the odd fartleck training. Great for the feet and tendons, and gets the wind right. Stamina is what i aim for with this type of work as i dont think you can effect the top speed of your dog but you can effect how long he stays there, and how many times he runs at top pace. Best of luck
  11. like the look of that mate
  12. may i also say that brindle bitch is stunning
  13. This is a breeding ive been going over in my head for a while and will prob put these two together in a couple of years, both at 22". I would only be doing it for a pup myself and brother. I love the breed and think the correct type could bring huge drive and other benefits
  14. very nice looking dog mate, nice to see the pics
  15. i use a main feed the day before and then give them a tin of tuna, or an egg 2 hrs before we go out, just for a protien boost. My father used to race whippets and to clear them out before a race he would place a match stick 3/4 of its length in the dogs arse. This encourages the dog to empty out before racing. i seen it as a kid and it works, weather it takes time off i dont know but it makes sense to me.
  16. lol, you cant fathem the diffrence can u. I love em,
  17. this is a breeding im contemplating in couple of years, both real young but i rate the pair of em, just a dog i would really love to own.
