  4. heres some pics of my bros dog, some may have seen him before, hes ingles bred and a real family fav.
  5. i must admit a ran my bitch during her first season due to a lack of experience and thinking . She ran crap, and was completely out of character. Well u lives and learns.
  6. I personally think the practice of resistance training for bull breeds is incorrect for the breed. as soon as people start to breed for this we will have dogs with straight back ends and muscles that create oxygen debt. I think real bull breeds should be of a dalmation body type, with bundles of stamina and should be capable of repeated sprints. Would not say they would be the best for every task but bred right should be able to run all day. I know i want one, lol
  7. Cheers mate, u can count 7 but one ran into my mates foot, lol so we cant count that one
  8. At 14 months this was my bitchs first night out this year. she was too excited for the first 3 runs and got out turned but then got to grips and took 2 of the 6 we took. She retrieved them which i was pleased with. She gave a helping hand on a 3rd when i slipped her by accident. well im now really looking forward to this year, and the pair of us learning.Shes 22" and whippet /grey/beddy. The other bitch is a beddy/fell/whippet and a real demon.Cheers
  9. yes mate i have a bull just now,hes a bit showy but hes keen and we keep him as light as possible.just could not break him to mutton. when hes gone i will be going to the thunderrock stock.he seems to be going down the correct route i contemplated putting my bully to a half cross game bred bull grey, wait a year and go back sire to daughter, but in all honesty ive not got the time or space as its long ear dogs i keep.so it will be easier to just go thunderrock when the time comes  dont think u would go far wrong there mate
  10. bushwalker thats correct he was on the beddy forum. Hes been called a man biter by strange people who have never met him. Quite understanderbly you can see that i cannot entertain this rubbish. i am not a prat and would not breed this animal if he were of this type. I know what he is and what he brings to the table and therefore will be using him. cheers
  11. Hes thunderrock bred mate. The bitch is whippet/grey/beddy. I love the fella, hes my brothers dog and in truth im jealous as feck!!!!
  12. this is a planned breeding of my brother and mine. if you like all well and good, if you dont, all well and good. The bully has more drive than we could have ever expected. both dogs are 22" and are very capable animals with loads of prey drive. they are quite well suited physically, long backs and loads of stamina. We hope they will be above average in the field. This is not an advert as this wont be for a couple of years when the bitch has fully proven capable, but at the mo all good. In my opinion the dog has nothing to prove now
  13. here you go [bANNED TEXT]. These two work together on dailly bushing trips. The running dog is 8 months and will start lamping around feb, whilst the terrier bushes and rats as much as we can get the work.
  14. i know that it can reduce working capabilty and length of working life. Im a farrier and see this every now and again and some horses can really suffer with it. Throughbreeds do not cope to well with these kinds of conditions and it also effects the flight of the limb. Arab race horses cope a little better. I think it depends on the degree of the defect. I would keep work light. They can pin the legs on the side of the limb thats growing fastest which allows the limb to even out if you can catch it early enough. Hope it works out well mate.
  15. hello mate, hope you well, dogs log mega, love the blue pup. Prob gonna be walking on the devils dyke just outside brighton this sunday. Lovely area [bANNED TEXT]
  16. i dont doubt that. Wouldnt say i liked everything about the culture, but they could not of been kinder to me. I was only there 2 weeks. I did see the poor Indian and philipeno men get treated a little diffrently though
