Coney Catcher 1,2,and 3 with Phil Lloyd are really good the rest of whiteheads stuff is ok, and a fist full of ferrets, proffesional rabbit control part 1 and proffesional rabbit control part 2 - a few ferrets more, thou that james bradley is an annoying twat. Im with you on that one James Bradley he as got to much of a big head for my liking I have seen the james bradley ones the 2 old boys frank and jimmy and the bits with phil Lloyd are good and the picture quality is brilliant but as already said james bradley is the most irritating/ patronising/ know all twat and he ruins wh

  15. we use a bulldog rabbiting spade brilliant bit of kit very well made the only trouble is they are about £35 not cheap but cheaper than keep replacing the c*ap ones
  16. As already said its quite normal for this time of year dont worry it will grow back its called rat tail
  17. What nice clear photos and 2 cracking jills and the dog a good ferreting team mate
  18. well done mate dont tend to do a lot of summer ferreting ourselfs although we do do a big garden for a lady recently and got 7 with no hang ups its about keeping the land owner happy not worrying about next seasons sport there will still be hundreds there come the season mixy and lamping kills more rabbits late summer than summer ferreters could ever do
  19. unless they get wet we leave our purse nets in the bags untill the end of the season then the whole lot 250 odd are hung up untill we start again we only use hand made spun poly nets also have about 30ish 10oz nylon nets which dont rot anyway but my 2 traditional 25yd hemp longnets we hang up every time we take them out
  20. Got quite a few like this myself multi coloured to use up all the odds and ends rabbits dont seem to mind what colour they are
  21. All our nets are made 18 meshes wide by 24 meshes long they catch and hold very well
  22. Well done mate nice to see people having a go at making there own nets regards buying rings/twine drawcord etc i always use agouti but there are loads of others like bridport nets kps nets or jbs nets but i have found agouti to be by far the best (cheapest and fastest delivery) Net making gets really easy with practice been making my own nets for years can make them now near on blindfolded but there was a few f**ks in the air when i first started years ago the first two rows is the hardest to grasp GOOD LUCK with them mate
  23. I try to put the joining knot on the side but on many occasions the knot has been put in the midddle i find as long as you pull your knot very tight trim the edges tidy and carefully singe the ends with a lighter to stop them fraying then i always put a very small dot of superglue on the knot and i have luckerly never had one move yet in years also it looks very neat and you can hardly see it but each to there own good luck with the net making mate
  24. Did a one off garden job for a lady recently it went ok as it happens we got 7 with no hang ups but i certainly wouldn'd reccomend summer ferreting This is NOT a dig a the people who ferret all year round good luck to them and i wish them all success in the world but its not for us
