used to be able to buy strong peroxide from most chemists (the stuff in womens hair bleach) but i think its hard to get now. try a company called bushwear they supply chemicals for bleaching heads and also darkening antlers. think the site is bushwear.co.uk but should come up on google. Hi Deerstalker 32 has your new permission got sheep grazing on it? The reason i ask i have a bit of permission where on one side sheep are allowed to graze and every rabbit you shoot is full of tape-worm, On the other side no sheep,no tape-worm,atb NID. PS.Its also worth remembering that tapeworm from rabbits can be transmitted to humans.

Couple of ways to do it,don't use salt as this makes the skin hard and unworkable, treat it with Borax available at most chemists not expensive or send to snowdonia taxidermy for tanning kit. atb NID.

There's wildlife photographers spend their lifes trying to get close to these regal birds but Rod and Dog gets to within 40 yards with three dog's and can see there's no rings or anklet's present ATB NID.

Hi Orvis, i try to go at the right times ie when the females are spawning and they tend to come into the shallows,like fishing for them in winter too. Try to split the time between Balmaha,loch Awe and the Venacher,to be honest i'am hoping to do better this season at the Venacher,some markings on the fish from there.atb Ned. PS. Lomond gets most fishing as i only stay 1 hour from there.atb Ned. Venachar just doesnt have the amount of big fish that lomond has all gathering at the same time in the same place....
