Same area J/D but now the woods are all schedule 1 birds nesting there,a lot of ongoing work is being done to try and help the Caper such as removing deer fences and the ongoing vermin control. There's also being a downturn in Bilberry (spelling) as apart from pine needles is a big part of their diet,atb NID.

They two females J/D were hatched using a batam after the female was killed flying into a deer fence,caper were the keepers thing he was right into them,used to go to a few lek's to watch them amazing bird's,atb NID.

Hi Orvis, i try to go at the right times ie when the females are spawning and they tend to come into the shallows,like fishing for them in winter too. Try to split the time between Balmaha,loch Awe and the Venacher,to be honest i'am hoping to do better this season at the Venacher,some markings on the fish from there.atb Ned. PS. Lomond gets most fishing as i only stay 1 hour from there.atb Ned.

Hi Orvis,I know the Cameron house hotel not the kind of place you would find your run of the mill guy ,costs you an arm and a leg just for a pint,to many Hurdy Hur's A lot of the footballers go there,atb NID.

Used to use Kershaw all the time great knives but was always losing them on the hill,got one left and its always on a lanyard. Mostly now it's Opinel in differnt size's,atb NID.

Hi David,have put out salt licks on the hill near the A9 motorway. There was quite a problem in winter after the gritters going by,the reds would come down of the hill and on to the A9 to get the salt from the gritters,a major accident waiting to happen. Found the salt-licks kept them up on the hill,atb NID.
