  1. wd40 is water based and makes it worse and doesnt protect 3in1 is the way forward is it realy i use it all time and it never dose my gun no harm it dose say on the can drives out moister lol I allways used it my self mate and then some one told me so I looked it up and its seems to be right so I just opt for the 3 in 1 now just to be on the safe side. think i might now lol thanks pal WD's not water bassed, it's a kerosene based carrier with silicon as a lube. It's not best for metal to metal lubrication as it's so thin and silicon's a rubbish metal to metal lube. It's very
  2. Have to agree moley when it was right it was right I had just lost faith in them and to restore confidence in it it was going to cost me the best part of £300(to send to jb) and I wasnt happy about it having just paid £700 for it.
  3. good fair price that lad all the best with the sale
  4. I had 2 r10's in the space of a week and even thoe the second was ok it had disheartened me so it had to go. as for the waranty they can drag there heals abit they told the lad at the shop I bought it from that it could be 6weeks before I got my rifle back so he swapped it for me for anouther in the shop this still had the odd prob like the mag not indexing on the last 2 shots but on the whole was ok but it wasnt the gun my hw100 is again I think thats just down to me and my preference.
  5. well I have lamped every inch of land around by me and there is a few spots that are meant to be haunted and these are usaly the best places to go because people stay away the vision that people say they have seen is proberbly me and the dog or gun but hand on heart I can honestly say I have never seen f**k all that cant be explained and if there was anybody going to see ghosts and shit it would be us lot with our choice of sport and night time activities

  10. There was a lamping comp a year or two ago that was run through some guys on the hunting life and they had it organised well think LDR won it if memory serves me right ,if you trawl through the old threads on lamping comp you will maybe find it have a look see how it was run
  11. althoe my male hh has had pigeon and jackdaw(out of the tree) I have to agree they are more suited to rabbits and mine is a fookr for grey squirels and has took a few nasty bites off them as well but I try to keep him away from them, my female hh did used to take phesant but I have seen her thrown off cock phesants several times.
  12. I have a pao 400 never let me down and does the trick think it was bout £100
  13. I think after all the shit on this thread that is the way forward take turns in running the dogs in there own enviroment to get a fair crack at how each one does and see wich takes the change of terrain best nd how each does best of look with it to both you lads will be intrested to see how you's get on
  14. I personaly lean more towards the harris hawk as they are a bit more placid and not as highly strung and if entered right they are pretty much bullet proof but the red tails will take and hold down bigger prey so it is just personal preference realy
  15. For £28 quid and letter that any body can write for you why not get the vet to do them and cover your arse? I was going to do them my self because I was told it was a real f****r to get the vets to do them and that you have to jump through hoops so I phoned up to get the crack took the letter in and the money job done and got the papper work and no come back I have nothing against any body doing there own I have done my own before the law changed but it was just as easy to get them done by the vet.
  16. well the vet asked me what length I wanted them and all I had to do was show a letter of permision to the vet just saying this person does vermin control with the use of his terriers I was going to do them my self but vets around here wont treat a dog thats been docked and has no papper work so they have ya by the balls so £28 was cheap realy but it is a load of toss over f**k all like.
  17. just had my 4 lakie pups docked £28 for all of them I thought that was cheap I cant under stand people still doing it them selves when it is that cheap and there are no come backs from the law.
  18. I have had my ss ones now a while and swear by them well made and a genuine guy to do buisness with
  19. I took my pup out and picked up 4 retreived them well, missed a couple but thats the way it goes cant grumble.
  20. I havn't seen this for years i thought it was brilliant and never seen it on tele since, can you get it on dvd? or as any body got it and can do me a copy I can buy off them?
  21. will u go back to bed them dogs are only good for back filling like yours alan Sorry boys think you droped this
  22. To be honest I think any body that cant pay a token for a well reared pup cant have the money to feed them put a price on them lad there worth it and might just keep the tools away.
