I see in The Countrymans this week there's is a big add for the above. He says in the add 'selectively bred for centuries for all lurcher work' I am very sceptical of this add, it looks to me like some clever advertising work to persuade non lurcher people who like the look of these dogs to part with a lot more cash than they would for another lurcher of mixed breeding. If you like an over priced bitsa. Not that there's anything wrong with bitsas, but at a fair price. What does everybody else think?

The mother of an old dog of mine was one, she was a great worker. The problem she had was a terrible coat and paper thin skin, she was scarred terrible by the end of her working life and with a lot of expence in vet fees to my mate.

I think there's nothing wrong with a bit of a flirt and a laugh. I think the only ones you'll find complaining are the married ones, who can't join in just in case there wives check out their posts.

The ones who have the least problem with it are the ones who don't live amoungst it i.e. politicians who can afford to live in pleasant white suburbs and maybe yourself up in Cumbria. Try spending a day down here and visit Southall and Slough. You may come away with a different opinion.
