  1. Unemployed? I'm still pissed off about women getting the vote
  2. "A proper dog" hope your not refuring to a beddy! Haha the beddy would just bounce about being vocal , don't know about the collie grey though, she is quite protective.
  3. We lack a decent air gun outlet round here, only place I know are running there stock down and will just be selling a limited number of items on ebay. The problem is I don't get to handle many guns and would like a springer to mess about with, but want one that feels just right. I am on the waiting list for a target shooting club nearby so this should remedy the problem.
  4. Cheers mole, good price, i'll stick an order in now
  5. A proper dog would have taken a chunk out of him, daft staff probably thought it was a game and just jumped up at him
  6. Can anybody send me a link to where I can get suitable scope mounts for this scope?
  7. Received scope from Catcher 1 as promised, really impressed with it, much better scope than the last for my needs. Thanks Catcher, your a gent, writing your cheque now
  8. what could we get him though? other than porn? that would get past the guards, they wont allow any good stuff like tobacco or booze jo54 lives 8 doors away from his mum, she might have some ideas?
  9. Good man, I wonder if we all chipped in for a thank you present it would get to him?
  10. You got that wrong mate, Staines is the next town to me and is one of the whitest areas within the M25.
  11. Kettering was a shit pit and much of south and east London , west London where I am is mainly nice except for the Asian areas like Southall and Hounslow.
  12. Depends whether you were claiming too I guess. If your were claiming and you did cash in hand for long enough to build up client base, say a few months then I could understand it.
  13. Well all sounds great but one little problem, the last lot practically bankrupted the country. I don't know if you have noticed but we live in a world economy so we compete with countries that have far smaller overheads. We can't just pull cash put of a hat, well not any more. You must either be a student or a pulic sector worker who has never had to produce a profit from a days work and so keep the economy running.
  14. The problem as I see it is too many think it's a god given right to live off the backs of those who are working. We had a couple of million unemployed right through the time when immigrants were coming in by the thousand and they on the whole found work. All the dole scroungers I know have been on it for the past 10 years at least. Tough times need tough measures!
  15. Another good reason to pull out of the European human rights convention, any time i think of a way of dragging this society out of the shit that cu.nting law throws a massive spanner in the works
  16. But the argument would be, you'd be putting folk who do those jobs out of a job. I would have them in a big room checking mps accounts, going over expense receipts, etc etc.... Nobody has the job of doing what I just mentioned and an ex soldier would find a job waiting when he left the army.
  17. Great idea, there is litter strewn all over the sides of the dual carriage ways round here Lots of old folk need houses cleaned, painted and gardens tidied. We could have gangs of say a dozen unemployed being organised by an ex-army person, if any of the gang are to lazy to get there arses out of bed then benefits can be deducted say by 1/5 each day. You could have someone on incapacity driving the mini bus from job to job. We need to shame some into playing a part in society and not just taking all the time.
  18. When I was in China about four years ago. I saw a cage which was a solid mass of alsation sized dogs piled on top of each other, outside a restaurant. It was a hot day and the cage was in full sun. The dogs were being taken one by one out of the cage, slaughtered and butchered. I traveled Vietnam on another trip and was told that it was not uncommon when lads have a party they hang a dog upside down and spend an hour beating it to death. Then butcher and cook it, they apparently believe the process puts adrenaline in the food and so gives the eater energy and strength. There is unlimi
  19. I used to keep light sussex x rhode island reds and they were bigger, healthier and better layers than both parents. They had some really nice markings too.
  20. i dont agree with that myself but its a different culture that dont see them as pets its all food to them there on a different wavelegnth from the rest of the world and it will always happen no matter what animal rights groups meddle all the big government suits all eat the meat from dog , the kids in school eat dog so it will never stop going on If dogs are raised as livestock and eaten then for me it's not the end of the world. But how they are kept and how humain the way they are slaughtered bothers me very much.
