  11. I’m always surprised how lazy shooting a pcp makes me a few good sessions with a Springer teaches me how to shoot properly again. The old Springer certainly looks like it can do the damage. atb John
  12. Tripe is 70% to % water, yes. Just the same as every other piece of whole raw meat, or whole animal on the planet - you and your dogs included. True beef has about a 70% water content and some chicken breast has even more . people always seem to be afraid to feed their dogs tripe and say that it is no good. As long as it is fed as part of a balanced diet it is top stuff.
  13. I forgot to say don’t use them without a thermostat because they can get very hot and bur you badly.
  14. No they don’t come with thermostats. you can plug them in to one or wire them in its up to you.
  15. Hello mate. You cant refill the co2 cartridges. If you bought the deluxe model you would have already had a bipod fitted. but Im not sure how you would fit one now and I’m not sure about drilling into a synthetic stock. Did you know that a co2 gun looses power in low temperatures and that can affect your zero. I personally would not use a co2 rifle for hunting but as long as your happy with it. atb bedrock

  18. The pro sport and its allot easer on the eye and Air arms is a British company.
  19. I tried them years ago they work for rats but not rabbits they just suffocate. I think a smoker is a lot better and there is a lot less chance of burning something. atb bedrock
  20. I’ve always liked the look of the HW98 but have heard a few reports that the shroud is crap and just makes the gun front heavy. Where as the shrouds on Theobens and Airarms work a treat. I’ve seen a post on BBS( ) when a bloke removed the shroud re-blued and threaded the barrel and added a moderator to it. Apparently it was a lot lighter and quieter. But that seems like a lot of work and as far as I know there isn’t a slip on silencer to fit the bull barrel. atb John
  21. A cracking result there zini Have you got a foxing rifle? If not I’m sure one of the lads in the firearms section will be happy to help you out. atb John
