  1. Areca nut, Garlic, Tobacco. I’ve also read in a very old book that one remedy was to add powdered glass into the dogs food
  2. Why would you breed from a bitch if you are not going to have a pup? It doesn’t make sense.
  3. Johny vagas thank for the offer but I have done some asking about and have one on the way. Like busterdog says you can use a shovel, digging bar or probe to do the same. atb bedrock
  4. I was talking to a few lads working for the water board today and they were using a listening stick to find a leak in a pipe. I asked them If they had any in the van which could go missing or be replaced with a couple of cans of beer and they kindly told me no. I’ve asked a couple of lads and they say they have used them with the terriers and find them very handy If any of the dogs accidentally get to ground without a collar. I’ve found some on the net and they would be easy enough to make. Do any of you lot use them or have you in the past? atb bedrock http://www.msfengineering.
  5. very true words, the terriers of today are not as good as they were all them years ago when the locators were none existent, I dont understand how they can be compared. You cant compare the athletes of old to the ones now. How would Rocky Marciano have coped with Mike Tyson? Sir Jocelyn Lucas used to put 8 or 9 of his world famous Sealyhams to ground. I’m not knocking the terrier men of old but its the truth.
  6. Mine arrived a few days ago. I can see you all put allot of time and effort into it well done to everyone who got involved and you all look lovely

  8. Well done Tony good effort there mate. Its a shame about the bunny. By using a Larson trap and decoying I learnt that magpie decoys or call birds will attract crows and magpies were as crow decoys or call birds intimidate magpies and are less likely to bring them in although they will still work for crows. Good luck for next time atb John Ps so maybe Mr magpie was too scared of his big black cousin to come in any closer
  9. Another fine example of our corrupt greedy government rapeing and pillaging our once great country Things need to change.
  10. i used pit bull cross greyhounds they do the job well lol was wondering when someone would mention that. You said what I was thinking Since when has a bull cross been a firearm? Don’t post useless comments on something you know nothing about.
  11. That looks nice bit of wood. have fun with it. Zini how old is the dog now?
  12. Looks nice wuzzy I had one for about 3 years. Cracking gun I loved mine but sold it eventually due to the crap mag system. Have fun with it mate. atb John
  13. If you need to dispatch in urban areas a shotgun could get you nicked big-time. Fuzz recommend sub-12 air rifle Ric sub-12 air rifle do the police honestly recommend that. I have used a 410 and a 22lr to despatch fox but would never use a sub-12 air rifle to despatch any thing apart from rats and mink and corvids. Have some respect for the animal lads kill it quick with a tool fit for the job.
