    Cheers falcon buddy. Yep I'll defo keep everyone updated on the new rat shooting permission. For obvious reasons I was only there for about 10 minutes to show face and speak to the lodge boss. He tells me that the rats are so bold they just come out and steal the fishermens bait while they sit at their pegs. I'm going to take my video camera and film their demise when I'm back and the lads body is re patriated. Little do they all know they are going to be stars in my 3rd DVD. Si.

    Thanks lads Hi Shay, yep will do a bit later pal as im on my way this morning to the UK. If any of you saw the news yesterday, 1 soldier from 3rd Regiment Royal Horse Artillery (My Regiment) was shot and killed yesterday in a fire fight in Afghanistan. He was a lad i knew very well and mentored for 2.5 years. A real good soldier and lad. Im going back today ready to take him off the plane and re-patroate him on Thurs morning .     Air Gunner are you resting the front of the stock on the bench rest or on your palm mate? What rifle is it your using and what pellets mate? There is also the case that the rifle and pellet may be matched perfectly but your trigger technique, breathing, position and hold and follow through are not as good as they could be buddy. If the trigger on your rifle is set quite hard you will also loose accuracy there pal as you will be pulling the shot all ways before the pellet leaves the barrel. For shooting tight groups you really need a nice soft trigger weight mate. For shots

    so you've never aimed above and off to one side to take a longer shot than normal,its all about practise and getting out regular putting a lot of pellets through your gun Who me mate? Never done that i dont know what you are talking about Why do you aim above the target and off to the side i only shoot on the cross hair. using a scope it is a lot harder as you would need a spotter to tell you how short or long you were,you would do better practising to be a better shot than you obviously are What is a spotter pal? I think its good for others (new shooters) to see that someone who can shoot as good as you pal with a PCP still respects the skill and technique needed to shoot a good springer correctly and accurately . Its true what you said mate . We must not forget our basic marksmanship principles and forget our springers.
