I buy three Scottish newspapers a day and stories like this are ther'e just to fill coloumn space?? why has this story not appeared anywhere else in the Scottish press?? I reckon this is a bigger danger to the wildlife in the area than some-one with a fertile imagination writing shit!!!! "Gartloch Hospital closed in 1996 and is now being converted to luxury apartments. The land around the hospital is also being developed as a housing estate -named Gartloch Village" The above is more detrimental to the local wildlife and rural amenities than what's written in the new's article?? see
-
They're will be recriminations of the type of dog involved!! (that's a matter for debate elsewhere) but most of all our thoughts and condolence's should be for a small child lost in such tragic and horrific circumstances Rest in peace "Little One" Tom

Cheers Tom, I followed your instructions and I am pleasantly surprised by the results. Before (poncey light tan) After (dark brown) Looking good If you want darker just repeat the process and a few more coats of the dye Tom
-
Cheap way of doing it!! clean the leather with a rag with methylated spirit, this removes grease, oil polish etc: it also gives the new leather dye something to adhere too. Once the leather is prepared in this manner apply at least two coats of a propriety leather dye to the treated leather. final stage apply clear leather shoe cream to fix colour!! this process works best when darkining leather rather than trying to lighten it Tom

Without going into the details of the issues between the CMW, myself, and others on another site!! because its already well documented!! and that is not the issue here?? Deako and his business partner Mark are friends of mine and Deako asked the members of this forum!! if it would be beneficial for their company to advertise in the CMW?? he now know's it would'nt. Compo say's "to quote one of the senior CMW staff "i aren't one of them"(or words to that effect) refering to the hunting community, they aren't part of our community and only care about circulation, In fact!! what was stated

Frank!! I have absolutely no issue with you obviously you have an issue, as you say "telling folks what to do" Moderating is and can be!! a thankless job I'm sorry if I personally, have offended you in any way? From where I'm sitting it appears wer'e censoring each other rather than censoring ourselves!! and I'm afraid some people don't know the difference? They're are certain freedoms enshrined in the media in this country and protected by legislation, and that includes the web, one of those freedoms is the right of free speech and the freedom of expression As some-one who! in the past h -

Ian!!!!! wer'e in this position because a minority of our own majority!! listen to feckin scaremongers and end up capitulating with our advesaries. We walk right into the antis hands by giving them what they want!! By hiding in the shadow's and not showing pictures of dog's in a working situation, is right up their street!! Every time a thread about working dogs with half decent and legal photo's appears its deleted why!!! (cos, people don't want to rock the boat and that in my humble opinion as well!! is being spineless) Darcy!! has recently written articles and supplied pictu

does this apply in scotland or is it just south of the border as i havent heard of it here Covers Scotland as well!!! It just means your firearms ticket is deemed valid for any land you have permission on!! rather than just land designated on your ticket!!! You have an obligation to make sure whatever land you have permission on!! is suitable for the calibre of rifles your using? Tom

At 8 weeks she's like a dependant infant and its all about bonding at this stage, its like that up to about 20 weeks?? depending on the individual pup you should always concentrate on basic obedience training before you start any thing else (let her enjoy her puppy stage without any pressure) If this is your first Gundog read as much as you can, buy a couple of good training video's but most important of all!! get to know others with gundogs and pick their brains!! get out and see other owners and their dogs working!! get involved in beating, once all the obedience training is out of the way

Below is the E-mail you sent me Glenn!!! re: the PTGB and the lady from the Nutter Hebrides! I would'nt trust any of the two of you, as far as I could throw you??. As for anyone wanting a Plummer Terrier, there's feck all wrong with that particular breed or type of terrier if its working, and fulfills it owners needs!! that being the case it probably deserves its place on this forum, as a working terrier. I would state again clearly!!!! I don't have any issue re: the Plummer Terrier. My problem lies, with liars and backstabbers leading and promoting breed registers?? I've met many Plumme
