The club has now just entered its 2nd year , and plans!! were laid out last night at our AGM for our second Terrier show, it will take place at Neilston Village, East Renfrewshire on the 14 May 2006! £100 prize for best Terrier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our inaugural show last year was a great success, and this years will be even better . We had a good meeting last night and the craic was excellent, we also were privileged to gain 3 new members into the Club Welcome aboard lads Tom

The photographs are stunning and the text and narrative well written, I have to be honest and say, Darcy, sent me a signed copy for some-one else who had been injured out foxing!!!!!!! As a gun, I go out all the time with my mates (NEILSTON WORKING DOG ASSOCIATION) and their dogs, and it can be very frustrating for the likes of me as sometimes I'm unable!!!!!! to to even fire the gun for a number of reason's that are within the law?? but, I have to be there as a legal requirement . (are'nt legal loopholes wonderfull) I've even had a complete miss a few times and the dogs, have still been able to deliver the odd rabbit or hare to hand. Its funny when I'm out with my own dogs, GSP's I don't have the same difficulties :whistle: I'm glad I'm not alone in this minor shoo

  15. Cheers mate I'd already made the deciscion to get a parent reared bird rather than an imprint, re a Harris?? male or female?? I know about the size difference!!! but is it that important!!! or does it depend on the quarry size difference, between eg: rabbit and hares, and is anyone taking hares regularly with their harris?? Be gentle with your replies as I'm a novice , and I won't be getting a bird until I think I'm ready Tom

  20. Time to pick the hawking and falconry guys brains!!!!!!! For a number of years now, I've been thinking of getting a Harris Hawk, and the only thing that stopped me is that I never thought I'd have enough time to devote to a bird?????? but that will change later this year. Over the last 30 years I've been out on numerous foray's with friends :friends: and their birds. I've got, and read a few books on the subject and I want to know from you guy's, what the pitfalls are?? I've allready seen the benefits. Should I consider going to a Falconry school and enrolling on one of the apprenticeship sch
