Had a call a short while ago and my 6 week old grandson is being allowed home this morning from Yorkhill childrens hospital in Glasgow and I'm off to pick him and his mum up The wee fella was rushed to Yorkhill by emergency ambulance on Monday and was suffering from a hernia, Leon!! had his operation first thing yesterday and it was a complete success I'd like to thank all members of the forum for their kind thoughts and good wishes towards the baby but most of all the staff and nurses at Yorkhill Hospital Thanks again everyone now!! The Wee fell'as operation was cancelled this morning, because of emergencies and more serious case's but Leon's operation is scheduled as a priority for tomorrow morning (Thursday) I'd also like to thank everyone on the Wee Man's behalf for their kind thoughts Tom Ps: I also only got the baby's age wrong!! he's only 6 weeks not 9 weeks

I've just had to take my first new Grandson into the sick childrens hospital in Glasgow, Yorkhill the wee fella has been diagnosed with a hernia and is getting an operation on Wednesday, at nine weeks old wee Leon is giving his mum and dad a wee bit of concern, despite them being told its a minor and common operation both of them are up to high doh!! My wife is on holiday in Turkey and has'nt been told so!! as a doting Grandad I'm doing all the running about taxi'ng and such like and making sure my kid and his Missus get the support they need.   16. The dogs should have been on a lead on private land, If it was me and my dogs?? I'd report the matter to the police a land owner/farmer has to have a good reason to shoot a dog?? worrying stock etc: he can't just shoot a dog or at it!! if its just off the lead!!!
