Why allow them access to your premises, or allow them to inspect your kennels under thes circumstances it seems you invited them in If they had a warrant and accompanied by a police officer thats a very different matter, None of us should interact with these people volountarily as for the ticket it states it is'nt a statuary notice therefore its only use is for wiping your arse Would any of us allow a full time employee of any other charity carte blanche to walk round their home inspecting thing and making comment? I managed to get a copy of John's book at an auction at the Earth Dog Running Dog show, John signed it with a nice personal dedication, and I've got a few of the terriermen's who's profiles are included in the book to sign it as well Tom

I have to agree with Bobo the Fair itself is piss poor, and an absolute disgrace , the lads who run the terrier and lurcher show are doing their best in the worst of circumstances! A game fair that has very little connection with rural pursuits there were more food outlets than there were trade stands with a country feel, Bobo! I'd like to apologise again for getting you mixed up with some-one else Tom Ps: no stands with anything relating to shooting or guns, no netmakers or half decent clothing stands for and shooting or ferreting wear not even a country video stand or a half d

Could I have the SACS members of the forums view on this?? At the "SACS" AGM, members were given a handout from the organisers of "The Galloway Game Fair asking that "SACS" and its members consider sponsoring this event?? It mentions two shows in particular that the other two pro fieldsports organisations are linked with! in Scotland, The Scottish Countryside Alliance at Glamis and Basc at Cardross both these fairs have Lurcher shows. Galloway does not!!! The Lurcher show at the Galloway Fair was a major attraction at this show for a number of years until its alledged a small minority of L

I was there for the whole weekend helping out in a small way (putting up the beer tent on the Friday) had a great time met some old friends and saw some of the best dogs in the country After the show and winding down ourselves!! my good friend Fran, who was one of the organising team along with Danny prepared a fabulous meal and fed about 20 people, Curry, Haunch of Venison, Duck and some of the best beef you'll ever taste I was also lucky enough to win a copy of Terriermen & Terriers at the auction for 60 quid a cracking inscription from the author inside, but!! what really made
