Judging by the Fox, they're pretty good! At 4 yards I think the plastic wad would have been sufficient to kill the fox, lol. Butt of the shotgun would probably suffice at that range too! This scam's been going round for years, especially in the lead up to Xmas, but the number was supposedly closed down in 2005, so it should cause no problems. The call actually cost £15, which even though a lot less than the £315 stated, is still too much.

Yes whin, I do know the difference, and I also know it's selfish to consider trying to help someone less experienced than yourself as just a 'waste of time'. Were you more fortunate than the rest of us mere mortals, and born complete with your knowledge and experience? Or did you have to learn some of the basics from others?

I've eaten plenty of Deer that could be termed to have been 'stressed' just prior to death, and the meat's been no different to that from a cleanly shot animal. In fact in the past, Bulls were baited (and therefore obviously 'stressed') in order to improve the quality of the meat, which was considered to be far superior to that from a quickly killed animal. Many people also considered a hare to taste better after a lengthy course.
