  4. ahh well, just replaced my cd's from oasis, travis( mum baught it for me) and the verve and replaced it all with pogues, levellers, the clash, and a bit of bob marley. its all better than that shit thats popular recently.

  8. my basc season calander tells me that muntjac are not found in northern ireland.
  9. they told me in my localgunshop to use a bit of, scotchbright on it lightly and then oil it with WD40 or brasso and i did and it came up lovely but the rusts come back i only got the rust after i did it with napier gun oil.
  10. Even with such a soft sweet fruit as the blackberry? yeah thats what i thaught, they've all fallen apart already. and its gone a really dark red. literally blood red.
  11. Never tried bramble brandy... is it good? ive never tasted it yet, i made it yesterday, it has to mature for a minimum of 3 months or so yet. but judging by my headache and sore throat brandy on its own does the job just fine.

  14. thats true i suppose, he has it on his ticket for shooting everything, bolting foxes, shooting winged birds after a shoot day and clays and vermin shooting.
  15. theres no such thing as cheap gin. made some bramble brandy the other day and was in tescos looking for the cheapes bottle i could find, bloody £5.49 for a quatre( i think thats what its called) 25cl bottle. gin was £6.00 for the cheapest bottle.
  16. Ferreting and pigeon shooting, and also lamping rabbits. Why is there something wrong ? thats a good reason to me, pigoen shooting when more than 3 shots may be necesary to finish off winged pigoens and for taking bigger bags if a flock comes in at once.

  18. yeah we shot one that was a foot long, sorry did have a pic but had to change harddrive on laptop so lost it it was exactly the same length as a 30cm ruler.
  19. too blody right, if it was in my garden i would want it killed, as they said it will come back if its it territory, also, if its it's territory residual substances are not going to deter it are they because they know the area is safe anyway, they are more likely to go and check out the smell
  20. if we find them we use ant powder at the hole after dark , give them 12 hrs then go back and dig em . fantastic fishing bait!!! this is one from the river teme , caught on a single wasp grub whilst trotting for chub beautyfull looking salmon mate...but wasps,cant stand the fu##ers..had a nest in my shed once so coverd evry bita skin nd went in with a can of lynx and a lighter.needless to say they were not happy chappys ok, not advisable but me and my mate found a waspnest in a bucket in his shed so we took it outside, put it on his fire area and got a wooden stool

  22. forgot to mention i put the jacket back on to go to her house to feed the rabbit.
  23. shite... i put it in my wax jacket pocket, then came home, put my jacket on the peg for an hour, then went to see my neighbours pet rabbit. hopefully its innoculated.
