A lot of the hunts have opted out of publishing their dates in such magazines these days...too many anti's turning up. horse and hound used to have 4 pages of hunt dates when i used to buy it a few years ago but now when i baught it last week it had about 2 pages + adverts.

hi all, looked through the pinned section and none the wiser...can someone send me a close up pic and/or instructions as to how to attach the wire to the tealer without it pulling off when the rabbit tugs when the tealer is pulled out the ground. cheers in advance. borntoshoot

got mine a few weeks ago. carbon steel is brilliant. sharpens easliy and holds an edge and as already said i shaved with it. cuts through bone easy as anything and brilliant for everything in bushcraft. i baught it in ronniesunshines in berkhamstead and they told me and my dad that on the bushcraft courses they run they give everyone a frost clipper mora and let them keep it.

just noticed your from henley on thames. thats not too far from me. if you fance meeting up for a shoot someday i have about 6 acres(not alot by anyones book) of permission with a few rabits on and a although its only grass there is a pigoen flightline right accross it. im in stokenchurch. near highwycombe.

misimformed mate. as far as i am aware if its covered and not loaded its ok as long as you can prove you are going shooting or coming back from shooting. ok no, just checked the BASC website and you are correct. its stupid because with a shotgun you can as long as it is covered.

hi all. pissed off this morning. i set my alarm on my phone for 4:00 this morning and put the phone under my pillow so it didnt wake everyone else in the house aswell. i was going to get up get sorted and eat then cycle to my permision for a few hours pre-dawn ambushing.. well as im writing this i have just woken up 10 mins ago. FECKING ALARM DIDNT GO OFF. :realmad:

cheers mate. i was a bit wary of walking through the woods today though. and at beating its all beech woodland or pine so its a bit dodgey for walking in wind but hey thats what i get my £25 for.

well i went out anyway as my nans house is about 150 yards up the road from my 3 permissions(all connected) and i had to pick up a can of guncleaner from her house anyway. as soon as i got to the field the wind completely died and it was calm as anything. in the first 20 mins of walking round the edges of the fields i had 2 mixi bucks then i decided to lay up for awhile in a hadge and rabbit came out so i have it 1, on inspection another mixi :angry: a doe this time then as i was walking back to my lay-up point a 1/4 grown popped out the hedge. after that i called it a night beca

hi all, i am planned going out this afternoon/evening/ night for a bit of rabbiting but my only problem is its fooking windy. now, i have a .22 airmagnum with a full bottle of gas in it and sighted in, what i want to know is am i going to waste my time and be fooking freezing for nothing? or is it worth trying it? atb borntoshoot

yeah partridge, had a good day today, we had a group of young boys and 2 girls shooting today, learning to shoot, they have done weeks on clays and now trying the real thing, they do this every season for one shoot we have a group of young people to shoot to find out what its all about.

hi all, we have had 4 saturday shoots alredy this year and i am getting ready for another days beating, i have just been out to walk the dog and i have to say its fooking freezing. anyone else going beating/shooting today? if you are it should be a good day.

yeah, i go to college in blackbird leyes ( often thaught of as the most scummy part of oxford) and it really amazes me how much people steryotype the area...i know many many people that live in blackbird leyes and greaterleyes that are great people, its just the minority that let our country down but when they do they do it in such a spectacular way that everyone from the area gets tarred with the same brush. sorry if that doesnt make any sence, in tired, up at 4 this morning pigoen shooting before school.

bet that hurt abit. i just want to know how they got his leg out... what they should have done is amputate and leave it hanging there as a warning to future chavs that try to kick walls in. the only problem we have as taxpayers/future taxpayers (im 15) is that he will now have gone to a hospital and claimed on the NHS for his own stupidity. if he got a job and payed taxes hed be pretty pissed if he had to pay for a dick like that to get free healthcare.
