  4. Thank feck you put this posting up. Thought it was my eyes  it was taken on my webcam and i had to hold it up in the air to get the picture so i probably moved it around too much. i am going beating then camping on my permission tonight so i should use it alot. will keep you posted on handling, how well it holds an edge, everything a good knife should do.

  6. hi all, now there have been a few posts about this knife over the last few weeks, i have been planning on getting one of these for months and today after i finished college my dad drove me over to ronnie sunshines, he got 2 dutch ovens (cast iron pots) a water bottle and a gransfors axe. i got some bottles of co2 for my airmagnum and pellets. i also got a frost clipper mora knife, now theire customer service is brilliant. on the phone they told my dad they only sell it in stainless steel, fair enough il have to get it in stainless. when i got there we were talking about these

    frost

hi all, i am currently on the look out for a new knife because i "misplaced" my knife somewhere in a massive field when i was beating. my dad is a scout leader and he has a Frost clipper/Mora knife in carbon steel and i love the fel of it, it holds an edge very well and it is eaty to use and good for carving aswell. i am going to get one online and am hoping i will have it before next wekend as i am camping on my permission andd will be shooting rabbits but have no knife. has anyone used one of these and if so can you reccomend a better knife for under a tenner? cheers.
  14. when my missus wakes up feeling randy
  15. can you not just rub the tin with a cloth then wipe in t on the jacket like you would with boot wax, thats what the instructions say. because its pretty runny already.
  16. has anyone re-waxed a wax jacket and how well did it turn out? i have a tin of wax to use on mine but i want to know if its worth it or not. my mum just told me that father christmas might get me a new one this year. LOL if anyone thinks its worth it i will give it a go and will post before and after pics.
  17. hi all, im bored, (should be doing courswork but on here instead) so we were talking at beating yesterday about whats everyones idea of a nice morning, most people said a warm summers morning when you can lounge on the lawn, but my idea of a nice morning is a crisp, cold, Frosty but dry winters morning when were walkng up the hill above the farm for the first drive on a shootday. also when its frosty and the frost stays all day and night. i love the look of dogs picking up and running around with steam shooting out their mouths. so what is your opinion of a good, nice morning?
  18. yeah, i noticed the one of someone tied to a chair, the first time i just saw a flash but my mum saw it and the second time she didnt see what it was but i did.
  19. did it work for anyone? didnt wrk for me, but i was sat by the fire and i could always see it out the corner of my eye and i wonder if that may hav messed with it either that or its a load of bollocks.
  20. haha my uncle told me that when he was 16ish him and his mates used to come out the pub walk down the lane and do that, he said you go in the morning and they still there and one night the farmer caught them and lobbed cow shit all over them.

  24. hi all, a ppost on pigeon watch made me think about this, whats the wierdest or funnyest thing you've seen while shooting, by wierd i mean people doing things or animals or anything or wierd things youve come accross in fields. when i first got my permission i was walking round the fence line looking for places to set snares and about 3 foot fro the fence stuck into the ground was a massive flat bit of metal, when i dug it up it turned out to be part of a plow, the owner told me that when that field was used to grow wheat it broke off and the farmer that originally farmed there was plowin
