    the process your looking for is a chrono, fill the bottle to to the prsure stated, and shoot all down to empty whilste listing every shot, in feet per sec (and foot pounds if you like). have a look at the numbers, you'll probably see the power curve, non regged guns start a bit lower and the power rises then slowly decreases to wards empty. regged guns usualy just have a drop from full to empty. what your looking for is the varience and thw power, e.g. 779 789 768 678 778 776 778 775 776 774 774 775 773..etc whats happening here is the original half a dozen shots at the 'from

    tbh, i think the list of 'good in my gun/guns' will include round nose and round nose :laugh: or round noosed though there is a flat head that gets a few votes, the hobby.. never tried them tbh. but...depend what you wants.

    regaurding the vid and what was said...yeeeup lol. personaly i like a silent gun, i've notised i can get three shots before the criters freek verses 1 shot with a V mac'd .. i.e. i can use a shot to range then nail it confidently.. cant with a crudey spinger lol. but a yup on head impact...cant do much about that though lol. well...lol.

    years back i was an avid semi wad cutter..nothing else! then i was talked into silouttes, which peed all over the was cutters so theni was a silouette only shooter....then the revolasion occured, i couldnt het any and eventualy bought some round nose pellets with a real sink in my heart.. ermmm some 15 years later i re tried the wadcutter..ffffleghh binned um, then the silouettes..yeh good killing/stopping but fleghhhhh you got to try to see..oh tried the super hollow points to at 5-10 yards, lovely loud slap followed by a runner so.....more bin fodder.     if your ratting you can get away with cheap tat...but it goes like this, 5'ver on a cam 30-50 on illuminasion..5'ver on the ir 150 quid on the cam. the super hads work, the soney effio E are better, the exveiws better again, image quolity wise it used to be the 'seconds' watec of ebay but he's just killed that one with a huge price rise and now the EJ summut or others in the seen. but theres a few inbetweenies. i actual likethe mini 5v cmos cam for 20-30 quid depending where you get one, flip the ir block filter off and it perks up nicely.(they do a 12v version some where) torc

    its one of them things int it...you remember or suffer it, after maybe 3 times you should really be thinking single shot lol. (and yes for safety a gun is always loaded...for very good reason). if your thinking 'is it loaded' then you have to discharge into something safe to see....that way you dont put a second up the spout. (or click the trigger at target, if nothing happens it wasnt loaded lol...its how you suss rats jump the pellet btw.. )

    is it your first chicken farm? if it is... first off, the infestasion is like just sit there all day all night and just keep shooting...eventualy they start to avoid you next is its nights only, yes they do get wise. from there you'll find the first few days lamping theyrell be loads about then it'll taper off quickly to the odd one.(leaving lights on all the time reduces that taper off..its always on int it, so it doesnt alert them). then its night vision time...thats where the fun starts.(there was none about on lamp? whered all these loads of um come from?). yes they are sh

    mind them chicken heads lol..... they tend to pop a head out right where your aiming from time to time. (get a couple led type things on the go that you can leave by the food long turm...bait wise its 'ohhh spilled a nice little heap right there' bout half a litre to a litre of the chicken feed, then revisit periodically, if no ones about have the odd quick check, you'll see a neet hole where ones been feeding, if you inspect too regular too obviously theyre often watching you and it makes life dificult).

    hmm range finding, i've used a 10-50x60 and they do work, but it varies fron 1 to 3 yards accuracy, depending on the light. if you do go that way you may as well get a set of dial markers too, its very cushty tbh...range it, dial it in..and wack it lol. (starts to range find ish at 30 mag plus...so i'm not to confident abiout claims of 16mag or below beying yard by yard focusing..unless i see it like..)

    what pelletes mate if theyre magnums...change to eather jsb heavies or daystate heavies.. failling that try some accy pells, if they like your barrel they hit as hard as the heavier pellets, if not...AA feilds is a good start. (it may even be as simple as try the other head size) last is, is it a longer barrel than your old .22...that can show up a bitta wobble you'd not have notised.

    i thought theyed sacked the testing company because they had zero guidelines and were getting ridiculas in proving things are over powered etc, then a few week ago i read theyre still testing.. avoid the police and if it cant be done make sure you get a lagit fire arm solisiter..

    Not really mate. If you do enough searchin, it's all there. If you're gonna get into air rifles then you need to know where you stand imho. thees a longggggggggggggggggggg list greys lol...in the actual carrying out. originaly it was written with an understanding that could be 'interpreted' by those who know, today theres some ludacrous ermmm re interpretasions being applied, i.e. some are making a mockery of the law by interpeting what ever old thing they want to get a case done.

    the rule of thumb is tune a pcp with heavey pellets and tune a springer with light..thats the narm, lol but just incase try some others. allow about a 1/3 to 1/2 a foot pound for the silencer not being on too... its all about the fit and the barrel lands and how they 'drag up the barrel' some run sweet, some loiter and faff about, so higher and lower foot pounds. the weight issue, its an equasion, basicaly the velosty and weight and a few other numbers, increase the weight for the same gun set up the velosity reduces because its heavier, lighten a pellet in the same gun (the same c
