  1. I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread where we post any gear that you think is useful and is fairly budget (Or just good value for money) My contribution is a German army flecktarn jacket / parka. It blends in very well against mixed bush. Not bad for £10. (I got it here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161057503330)
  2. "The number of Muslims in British jails rose recently to 11,200, a 200% increase on 3,681 in 1997" http://news.sky.com/story/1156989/inmates-bullied-into-converting-to-islam Nothing will be done till it's too late, maybe in 20 years time when they've reproduced at a higher rate than the average British citizen and 60% of the population is Muslim. There isn't anything we can do, you make any action and you'll be labelled the racist extremist. I don't know if anyone else watched the documentary a guy filmed on his brother who had joined Anjem Choudary, but it was clear he did so beca
  3. The one I was watching has gone, but these two don't seem too bad of a deal. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JACK-PYKE-CLEARVIEW-HUNTING-HIDE-NET-2-x1-5m-camouflage-/110453754850?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET&hash=item19b78e8be2 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hide-Net-Netting-Camo-Hunting-Pigeon-Shooting-4-5m-x-1-5m-Camouflage-Large-/221019887625?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET&hash=item3375cfd809
  4. So would you say a ballpark figure would be about 11-13gr? I'm looking for a suitable sample of .22's but most pellets in the sample packs are 16gr+
  5. (Can't find an edit button so new post) Also what sort of weight pellet should I be using for a .22 11ft-lb rifle? I've been using RWS Super H's and Domes which I believe are around 14.6gr.
  6. My Gamo Shadow 1000 has a heavy pull with a lot of creep on the second stage of the trigger, I was going to buy CharlieDaTuna's GRT-III trigger which apparently makes it much easier to fire, but he's not selling it outside of the US anymore.
  7. I know hollow points are supposed to expand, but with a 11ft-lb air rifle is it going to make any difference compared to dome heads? I'm assuming dome heads are going to be a little more accurate too as the hollowing can't be as aerodynamic. What would your preference be with a 11ft-lb rifle on Pigeons, Corvids and Rabbits at a distance up to 35 yards. Also is there any time when wadcutters are preferable? I know this topic has been covered a lot of times, but I'm, just wondering if the quarry and power makes any difference.
  8. Seems to be a lot of us in South Wales, I haven't got any decoys or netting yet but there seems to be some good deals occasionally on eBay, 'save' the eBay search and get emailed when one turns up.
  9. Seems there has been a few recent introductions from people in South Wales. Young lad living in Cardiff, country boy at heart, spend half of my childhood in rural Oxfordshire. Haven't got permission yet, have the sense to not start begging here though! I'm considering perhaps doing some beating to get some permission to use my air rifle for Rabbits, wood pigeons and corvids. One of my dogs was trained as a retriever as a puppy, but she's getting on a bit now and is a bit scared of explosions - A shame really!
