hey why dont all you lot thats telling him to go round and start trouble with the travellers all go with him ? and see if any off you get off the site ( i think not ) more than your lives worth. here today gone tomorrow if he goes on the site causing trouble then he will find trouble and it wont stop just on the site it will follow him and every 1 thats with him. i would take the dog to WATCH ONLY ! dont be tempted to slip her or see what she would do with a rabbit even after its been carried back alive from the other dog. you will only encourage the dog to start barking when its chasing or to be hard mouthed if its not ready. it will do the pup more good just watching for the time been. i wouldnt even concider slipping my pup until he is atleast 12mths old evn if i think hes ready before that . DONT OVERFACE THEM TO EARLY

i wouldnt go causing trouble on a traveller site it might be the start of your worst nightmare, i wouldnt even involve the police , if i was you i would approach the man on the site and just ask him if the dogs for sale , then explian your story about it used to be your dog before it got stole , dont accuse him of stealing it ( he might take offence ) as he might have bought it him self in good faith of some 1 else . if you talk to him right he might just sell you it back and you will have to put it down to experiance and make sure you have better security next time . i feeel as tho this is th

i would say a proper lurcher would have to be a roughhaired lurcher ( deerhound , beardy, beddy x) back in the old old days when all running dogs where band and the dogs destroyed , people began to cross the greyhound and the whippet with dogs that had long haired dogs. the off spring from this breeding also had roughhair which hid there shape of there dogs but the dogs still could put food on the table . so to me a proper lurcher would have to be rough haired with any off the above in the mix

hold her back abit longet until shes a bit older , start doing a lot of road work with her to get her fit and take her out just to watch , then start her light with easy rabbits , if lamping go out realy windy nights for squaters or short slips in fields that she has a chance of catching tho. that should sort her

only time i would muzzle a dog is if it bite people but saying that i wouldnt have that sort of dog ( only if there was dog thieves about then i would ). other than that i wouldnt as its the other persons fault if they dont restrain ther dogs when other dogs are about. its natural for a greyhound to strike at any animal thats small and running. the way i would look at this is that if the greyhound wanted to kill the small dog it would have as its got the power to do it quick as well , and it didnt so it cant have wanted to kill it just warn it ! as for recall if your say down the woods walk

wish i could vote ! but dont have the right to ! or i would vote for labour out , but saying that it dont matter whos in they still wont do owt for the working class I AM A DROP OF RAIN ! i hope the lad gets his dogs back its sad that the RSPCA can be so petty
